I brought my daughter to the Diva Express hair salon on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 to get her hair washed and get kinky twists. She had an appointment at 1000, but there was nobody at the shop and we had to call several times and send several [redacted] messages for the stylist ([redacted], a.k.a[redacted]) or shop owner ([redacted]) to respond. Two hours later, the stylist arrived and my daughter got her hair done. The shop would not lower the price even though they were late. When I picked my daughter up, my wife and I noticed that some of the ends were not tightly twisted and were already coming apart. My wife spoke with the shop owner and the stylist and they agreed to properly finish the ends the next weekend. During the week, my wife made an appointment for my daughter to come in to get her hair finished on the morning of October 10th. Once again, I brought my daughter to the shop at 1130 and the stylist was not there. After texting and [redacted] messaging the stylist and shop owner, the stylist agreed to meet us at the shop at 2:00 PM. When I arrived at 2, the stylist said that she had two other customers ahead of us and that she couldn't get to us for another 45 minutes. I informed her that I had been to the shop twice already at times she and the shop owner agreed to, but I am still not receiving any service. After waiting approximately 20 minutes, the stylist asked me to continue to wait another 45 minutes for her. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the customer service, disregard for my time, and unprofessionalism, and then departed the salon. I would have said more, but there were some young children in the shop.Product_Or_Service: Kinky Twists Desired SettlementBased on the sheer disregard for my time, extremely unprofessional customer service, and shoddy work, I would like a full refund for the price of my daughters hair do ($80). Business Response At the time this customer came to the shop I was out sick with strap throat and only visit the shop for a hour this customer did in fact inbox on [redacted] and I informed my staff that the customer was at the shop and staff informed me they were on there way when I came to the shop I did witness this customers complaint about a few twist that curls had fall out and instructed [redacted] Shop name [redacted] to Retwist the curls I [redacted] owns Diva Express [redacted] Salon the shop is open 8am to 6pm and I am there 4 hours a day I didn't witness the customer coming back but if she did my staff is train to help if the client was unhappy with services she didn't comtact me to let me know because if she did I would had been more than happy to help with any problem note that when entering Diva Express [redacted] Salon there is a sign on every wall we fix problems no refunds I will more than happy to redo the style with a different stylist no charge and I am deeply sorry because we do aim to please and all staff that was late has been written up and sorry and we will be happy to set up a appointment to do any style for free !!!!!thanks [redacted]
