For Mother's Day, My [redacted], [redacted], and I decided to have pedicures at this salon. I paid for 3 services: a children's pedicure ($20), my mother's pedicure ($50), and my pedicure ($44). Total was $122.30. For the particular pedicure I had it involved gel nails. Everything was fine until the salon became extremely busy. During the pedicure, I was told to get up from my seat, where I was having my service that I was paying for done and made to sit in a small chair and have my nails finished in a worker's lap. It was unprofessional and because I wasn't in the proper seat, my nails didn't dry right and the lady was rushed and uncomfortable, so she also applied the wrong color and didn't add the extra layer of paint or sparkles. My toe nail polish was ruined. They also charged me for my mother's callus removal, which she never received (extra $6.00). I asked to have my nails redone, but they dismissed me and said "looks fine looks fine, we are busy today". I asked to come back another day and they said you will have to re-pay. I called again later when I got home and asked for a manager and was brushed off. If I paid $44 for a service, I don't feel I should have been taken out of a pedicure chair and made to have my nails done on a worker's lap because they wanted to get another person in my chair. They actually brought another person over to where I was seated and said "you get up, lady needs her nails done now". I wasn't even half-way though my service. So, my gel nails are smudged, the wrong color, and I didn't get 1/2 of what I paid for. My mother also did not get her callus removal, which I paid an extra $6 dollars for, but I can live with a $6 dollar loss. $44 is a lot of money and I have given this salon a lot of business over the past year. It was very unprofessional to move me and not complete my service in a proper setting just because they were busy. They could have easily re-done my nails yesterday when I said something.
