I am rejecting this response because:The seller was not forthcoming with his response. I indicated to the seller that we will purchase the warranty because I was buying the car for my teenage son and wanted to make sure he had a safe car to drive. He indicated that it came with a warranty if I paid full price. No explanation was given about I could pay more for additional warranty. I said "if anything goes wrong they will fix it?"  But only if you pay the full price . So I foregoed the negotiation for the warranty. I called the dealer a couple of days later to let him know the car was in the shop and he responded that he "hopes it's nothing serious." I called and spoke a couple more times then started communicating via text messages. I believe that the dealers sold me a lemon which is going to cost thousands of dollars to repair and the Warrenty folks will not honor the Warrenty because of the pre- existing condition which was found within two weeks of purchase and should be fixed or addressed by the seller.

because no bad business was intended .We are a reputable used car dealership in the Philadelphia Suburbs with good ratings over the internet and social media.We include 90 day Powertrain warranties with cars sold for the asking price . Our 90 Day warranties are backed by a 3rd party warranty company "VETERANS".In this case the customer receved a 90 day Powertrain warranty Buyers guide and also a filled 90 Day Powertrain warranty contract from "VETERANS".Powertrain warranty is the warranty which for most part will include coverages of Engine and Transmission and is co called "Essential" from Veterans.PAPERWORK ATTACHED.        SEE ATTACHED  page 1 of the contact which is checked for "Essential" and "90 days or 4500 miles" , now please note page 3 where the contract statesthat the PAYOUT for a 90 day essential warranty is $1250. NOT TO EXCEED THAT. This is exactly what the customer was offered when her car broke down.(Also that is exactly what the customer has listed on the complaint letter to Revdex.com)The warranty did agree to pay out $1250 and not to EXCEED it , as their contact which was signed by the customer states. Customer also has this contract copy.NO BAD BUSINESS WAS INTENDED, EVERYTHING WAS BACKED BY A SIGNED CONTRACT AND NO CONTRACT POLICIES WERE BROKEN . THE CONTRACT STATES THAT MAX PAYOUT WILL BE $1250 AND SIGNED BY CUSTOMER, THAT IS ALL THAT WILL BE OFFERED AND NO OTHER REPAIRS OR REFUNDS.We sell over 300 vehicles a year, these contacts go to almost every buyer. CONTRACTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE ALWAYS FOLLOWED.We stood behind our sale and as a courtesy issued a warranty, the issued warranty was only for 90 days, however customer did not want to purchase any different warranty plans or coverages.(WHICH WOULD COVER MORE) Vehicles can break down any day , any moment.
