The customer did visit our establishment on October 15th asking for the color described in her statement. Our stylist added a 7NA color to the clients root area, which is a dark natural ash blonde to give her an ombre look.  This would not require pre-pigmentation as the client states....

 There was a miscommunication on how far down the hair shaft the client would like the color.  After multiple text messages between the client and stylist the client agreed to come in Saturday morning, not the following week, to have the color service more to her liking at no additional charge.  The following day the client says she would like a refund on her color service.  The stylist asked the salon manager and she let her know our policy is to make the clients color to their satisfaction, not refunds.  If the client had received any damage to her hair this would have been handled differently. Also, if the client is not comfortable going to the same stylist we would put them with another stylist in the salon.  The client was told the salon manager would be in the following day and we would like to resolve this manner.  The client stated she would be in Saturday and never came into the salon or called to speak directly with the manager.  The manager never spoke with the client nor her husband as stated.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and although the stylist repeatedly told me what she was going to do with my hair and then proceeded to do something entirely different, I am going to drop the complaint becuase it is not worth $45 dollars to keep going back and forth. But I will never recommend anyone to this salon or stylist. Consider the complaint dropped and solved.

Review: On Thursday October 15th, I went to "Divas and Dudes too" to get my hair colored in an ombre style matching my roots. I showed the stylist several pictures of exactly what I wanted and explained it. She said she understood and knew what to do. She came back out with a swatch of hair that was way darker than my roots and I questioned it and told her it looked dark but she said "trust me it won't be". Seeing as she is a licensed cosmetologist I trusted her and ended up with dark golden brown roots 2 inches into my ash blonde hair and demarcation lines everywhere. I examined my hair and looked confused as to what she tried to do. She said "you have 2 weeks to come back if you don't like it" I said "I will have to look at it closer at home and let you know." And I thanked her, paid $95 and left.

Later that night I texted her and said I really don't like it and if I could get it fixed. She said yes but not till next week. Come to find out through other stylists, she messed up from the beginning by not putting a filler into the color for my hair. At this point I did not want to go back to her to prevent anything worse happening to my hair. I had to pay a different stylist $120 and 2 different sessions to fix my hair..I asked the stylist at divas and dudes too for a refund and she said she can refund me $45 for the color only. I said that was fine but then she later said her manager refused to refund because my hair was not damaged.

My fiancé called asking to speak with the manager and she said the same thing, because they didn't damage my hair they cannot. But my hair was ruined and I had to pay more money to another stylist to get it fixed. The manager was rude and would not offer any refund or resolution to the problem.

I, the customer, asked for a specific service on my hair, it was done wrong and not fufilled to my satisfaction so naturally I would like my money back as any unsatissfied customer would.Desired Settlement: I would just like to be refunded
