RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. I’ve never asked you to apologize for selling me the vehicle I purchased. Your dealership had the color and trim I was looking for that I couldn’t find locally. In this day and age of the internet your proposed hypotheticals don’t apply. Your dealership posts internet pricing, so I don’t get your point. I’ll be the first to tell you that I am not a car guy at all and will never make that claim. I did not consider rust in my equation, nor ownership in the northeast. My comparison was that rust was mentioned in the description of the vehicle. It is somewhat more severe than just surface rust, as you claim. I also featured the following vehicles that were similar to mine as far as mileage and age. [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] What doesn’t seem to resonate with you is that I am not a customer in your immediate area. Now these autos are just as old as mine and they are listed as rust free in their ads. Again, I ask, why was the rust omitted from the ad of my vehicle. I did see the front hubs entry and I just did the rear, but the condition was as I originally described. The 1-owner is not quite true because on 8/25/2017 the vehicle was purchased by Kenny Ross Chevrolet. On 9/11/2017 it was sold at an auction and listed as a dealer vehicle. At that point, the vehicle is no longer a 1-owner vehicle. The adage, possession is 9/10 of law comes to mind. We haven’t received a check. Did you send it registered mail, FEDEX or UPS? This response will have paid invoices attached for the A/C replacement and rear hubs and bearings from the Auto Nation dealership . As an owner, is It really a good business practice to call a customer, albeit disgruntled, stupid? Furthermore, I don’t understand your attempt to emasculate me in your response. The title is clean, but the condition of the vehicle has been questionable. In layman’s term, the issues I am having are as follows: · The rust was not disclosed, but you obviously check for it because it’s mentioned in the enclosed URLs for other vehicles. · Because of the rust, I am unable to find a shop to work on it. Firestone no longer has the hardware to work on jobs like the rear differential. Moritz is another Jeep dealer that won’t work on it because of the rust. · Will you give an honest explanation of the enclosed pics? Damage to gas tank Rust Damage 1 Rust Damage 2 Rust Damage 3 Regards, [redacted] -

I've made numerous responses to the Revdex.com in regards to this complaint. This will be my final response! *** *** doesn't understand that when you purchase a year old vehicle from a northern climate (OHIO) that uses corrosive chemicals on roadways (SALT) during winter months this will cause the undercarriage of a vehicle to rustSome more than others depending on driving conditions. This is considered the norm for myself, my local competition and customers to say the least. You will see it mentioned in my advertising that some vehicles are rust-free because to us its a rarity in this climate. It might be old or new, high or low mileage but if it wasn't exposed to the elements of this harsh climate I would consider it rust-free and advertise it as so. This was not the case for *** *** nor did we ever make mention that the ten year old 177,mile Jeep he purchased was rust free. ** *** expectations are totally out of line and unwarranted. This could have been avoided if he would've had a third party inspection done on the vehicle. Further, its not my establishments fault *** *** elected not to. Don't forget, he was also given a detailed history report (CARFAX / AUTOCHECK) free of charge on this jeep and not ounce does it mention any problems with the structural integrity of the vehicleAgain, its a 1-Owner vehicle with plenty of detailed service performed throughout its life even up to the point of your purchase. MrTaylor is upset with me because he elected to do an inspection after purchase and not before, shame on him!! A ten year old vehicle from Texas will suffer sun damage and in Ohio salt damageIts always the customers choice to have a third party inspection prior to purchase, this customer elected not to. Thank you, Mike ***

Dear Revdex.com,because of the privacy act we will not disclose any information unless its directed toward [redacted]. On 9-30-2017 we sold a 2007 Jeep Commander to a [redacted]  who further resides in Texas.  The Jeep has lived its entire life in
the northeast region...

(Ohio-Pennsylvania) and therefore would be
subjected to a much colder and damper climate causing corrosion to
develop at a faster rate than a vehicle from the Texas climate.  As far
as the overall condition, according to Carfax and AutoCheck this was a
1-Owner vehicle with extensive service and inspection history.  In
regards to the claim made "I took the vehicle to 3-4 different Jeep
dealers and nobody will work on it" I find ridiculous!!  Documented on the Carfax shows 2 different Jeep dealers doing miscellaneous repairs on this Jeep within 3 months of [redacted] purchase. The pictures sent to my Internet Manager, Frank P[redacted], show only minor corrosion on the vehicles undercarriage and nothing that would effect its structural integrity (Hense COLD DAMP SNOWY CLIMATE!!).  As part of our vehicle disclaimer on Auto Trader, CARS.com and CarGurus it specifically states "Third party inspections are welcome and encouraged".  [redacted] purchased a used 2007 Jeep with Over 177,000 miles on it thousands less then what she would've paid if bought in Texas.  There was no misrepresentation on our part, we never promised [redacted] anything we couldn't deliver and Diversified Auto Sales stands behind what it sells. We sold a 10-year old Jeep with a clean title history that rode, drove and handled like it should.  Sincerely,Mike P[redacted]

Customer complaint from [redacted] The above referenced customer purchased a [redacted] on 4/28/2017. After taking delivery of the vehicle engine failure occurred. It was such a short time frame that even though the vehicle was sold 100% "As Is" we took it upon ourselves to replace the motor for the customer at [redacted], We made the decision to do a Good Faith repair and cover it as a service contract. The service contracts we work with have a $100.00 deductible and do not cover taxes or diagnosis, as such we asked the customer to cover the $100.00 deductible and taxes, in the amount of $466.00. After working with [redacted] we where able to waive the tax obligation and requested customer pay the $100.00 deductible. Diversified Auto Sales LLC covered the cost of the replacement engine and labor, that totaled $4,510.00. We have gone above and beyond to rectify this matter for our customer and see the matter as closed. Customer picked up the [redacted] from [redacted] after the remaining issues where resolved by [redacted] week of 5/25/2017.Diversified Auto Salees LLC Mike Pisano
