This is a business that always put the customer first and has the expertise and talent to complete a job within budget, on time and with great results Creative design input, quality materials and excellent craftsmenThey made the job of renovating two batheooms seamless with great communication between us and their staff throughout the processThey are an example of a business doing things right and should be recognized as suchWe would use them again in another project

Complaint[redacted] placed the wrong pre-fab hardwood flooring (Bruce E531 Gunstock) in my upstairs hallway. I specified to place Bruce Product EB521 Gunstock. Please be aware that the WRONG product was placed in my home, as I specifically requested [redacted] to place Bruce product #EB521 Gunstock in my upstairs hall, as that is the product we have placed downstairs in my home. I made a point to show [redacted] the box in my garage identifying the product #EB521 Gunstock, to ensure he ordered the same flooring. He knows this is the correct product as he placed this product in our home not too long ago.[redacted] ordered the wrong product (BRUE531 Gunstock) in an error that needs to be corrected, as I did not request or approve a different product to be placed in my home, especially that EB521 Gunstock is a product still available by Bruce Floorings. After many discussions with [redacted], in trying to resolve the error made on his part, one of the first options he presented was to remove the WRONG product & replace it with the correct product. He decided he did not want to remove the flooring & refuses to do what's right to correct his error. Please see the cut & paste of that actual statement from [redacted], as this is the only acceptable solution, since I did not ask for a different product to be placed in my home. [redacted] was able to get the carpet replacement correct, but not the pre-fab hardwood for some reason. It was either an honest mistake on [redacted]'s part of ordering the wrong product, or [redacted] took it upon himself to order something different without informing me as such. Any professional should obtain customer approval of a different product substitution to be placed in their home & not take it upon himself to order something different, as that is just bad business practice. One of the statements made to me by [redacted] was,"I thought what you had down stairs was no longer available." This is clearly not accurate as Bruce product EB521 is still readily available from the company. The option of replacing the floor with the correct product Bruce EB521 that I originally requested of [redacted] is what I will accept. Another solution is for Diversified Flooring not to charge me the $1079.25 for the wood flooring service as [redacted] offered in his last email, since I will need to have the wrong product ripped out & replaced with the proper flooring. Diversified Flooring should be liable & responsible for me having to incur a cost for removing the wrong product and replacing the plywood sub-flooring since that will be damaged from the hardwood flooring removal. EMAIL FROM [redacted]:From: [redacted] To: '[redacted]' Sent: Mon, Dec 23, XXXX XX:XX amSubject: RE: Win win solutionI sorry I will not be replacing the floor in your hallway. I will take of the $1079.25 off you bill. I will have my office e mail you an invoice and call you to collect the payment of $2277.15. We will not be coming back out for any reason to do anymore work at your home. You can use the $1079.25 to hire another contractor to do the work. [redacted] If neither one of these solutions is honored, I will have no choice than to take this matter to small claims court. If you all put yourselves in my shoes, you would want the right thing done to resolve the error made by [redacted] & that is to replace the wrong product with the correct product that was requested.I would have appreciated a call from the Owner, [redacted] as I was able to finally leave a voicemail on 12/31, after being told on prior occasions that he did not have a voicemail. I called on 12/24 (spoke to [redacted]), 12/26 (spoke to [redacted]), & 12/27 (spoke to **) & have yet to receive a call back from the Owner to address the complaint.Desired Settlement[redacted] option of replacing the floor with the correct product Bruce EB521 that I originally requested of [redacted] is what I will accept.
