Stay away from this criminal enterprise
Has anyone ever walked along 7th ave in New York City and been fleeced for your cash by a lady of the night? Well if you haven’t, then please visit the DIVI Resorts Timeshare presentation. It will be an eye opening experience.
I had been working on a purchase with Nikki Simmons at the DIVI Golf and Beach Resort, and after a 2 hour presentation and a pressure filled sales negotiation, we came to terms for a purchase. All details are in writing, with corresponding emails, and are very specific, including dates and locations of 2 upcoming complimentary vacations.
We were just waiting for the confirmation of those vacation dates, which couldn’t be done on the spot, due to the late hour. After several non response emails to Nikki, my wife finally received word that she had taken care of everything.
Fast forward to this week, 6 months later, and we find out that she actually hadn’t done what we negotiated for. However, she emailed us she had, and now we find ourselves with a vacation and that there was no availability now, at the resort we requested. Moreover, that I couldn’t cancel the purchase contract with DIVI, due to this calculated delay.
I have been in touch with no fewer than 9 people at DIVI and each contact person continues to pass me off until I finally wind up back at the first person I spoke with, and they recommended we speak with Nikki.
I have been in touch with Nikki, who denies the black and white paperwork in her own handwriting that states what we agreed to.
Very simply put, I have stated to her that all you have to do is make these bookings right and I would go away, however, both she and the company would rather deal with bad reviews as opposed to living up to their obligations.
As a side note, if you look up past reviews, there are at least 5 negative reviews on her deceptive practices. I wish I had done a search prior to my purchase.
Forget about getting a response from member services. You will get on a circular roller coaster that you wind up back with the first person you spoke to.
In closing, never think you got a deal, it is a complete scam.

My wife and I purchases a timeshare from the Divi Golf and Beach Resort in Aruba in When we stayed there the following year the service was horrible! Our room was never kept clean, equipment in the room did not work like the ceiling fan, stereo, and we found bugs in the room Also we had requested an anniversary package and the front desk ignored our request and when we complained with the main office in NC they said the employee had offered us a package and said we had refused it We went back the following year and the service was still poor and we had ordered an anniversary package from the Divi online, but we never received it since they said they delivered the package to the wrong room My wife and I had to complain to the office at the Golf and Beach resort and they threw together a quick food basket for our room We will never go back to that resort again, but we still get charged an annual maintenance fee, and when we attempted to see our timeshare they denied our request to sell The Divi Resorts are a scam designed to lock people into routine payments and providing very poor service
