Ms [redacted] ,Pursuant to Washington Administrative Code [redacted] all Registered Tow Truck Operators must have posted business hours and rates for towing and after hours releases This rate was set by Washington State Patrol on October 15th and will remain unchanged until October 14th The rates and hours of operation are posted in the window of our dispatch office Posted hours are 7am to 7pm Monday – Friday and 8am-6pm Saturday These hours are hours per week more than required by the WA Admin Code of hours a week or Monday – Friday 8am-5pm After interviewing the employee who spoke with you on Saturday at the impound yard, I was able to ascertain that the employee advised you of the need to speak with our dispatcher about releasing the car He did not advise you that a Sunday or after hours release would be possible or acceptable without first speaking to dispatch about details regarding the release You did not contact the on duty dispatcher Saturday and when you contacted the after hours dispatcher on Sunday you were advised at that time of the after hours release fee You then agreed to pay the fee and the car was released The hours of operation and fee rates are posted and are not arbitrary as you suggest Thank you,

Ms [redacted] ,We impounded your car from private property at the request of the property owner We did not put the sticker on your window The rates we charged you are posted as well as set and regulated by the Washington State Patrol The only paperwork you signed for us is a Right of Redemption and Opportunity for a Hearing Notice This notice serves to make sure you are aware of your rights and obligations as set forth in RCW Under this code the owner has the right to request a court hearing to contest the validity of the impound and/or the towing and storage fees You also have a right to a copy of the towing and storage invoice as well as the name of the person or entity authorizing the impound This notice also informs you that should you choose to contest the impound all fees paid by you to redeem the vehicle will be held in a trust account pending the disposition of that hearing.In regard to the damage done your bumper, our driver hooked your car from the rear and dollied the front There is no note of any damage to your vehicle on the paperwork We're sorry for the trouble you were caused but the property owner contracted us to provide a service Please let us know if need any additional copies of your impound paperwork

Ms [redacted] ,I'm sorry you feel that Divine's took advantage of you or in any way treated you unfairly We were trying to get you back on the road as quickly and inexpensively as possible The original reason for the engine light coming on is not the same reason as when it came back on the second time The first time indicated the ports needed to be cleaned After cleaning them all of the readiness monitors including the EGR were set to ready This could not have happened if the valve was not functioning properly at that time The second time the light came on it indicated the EGR valve was not outputting power The new EGR valve had failed After replacing it, all readiness monitors were set to ready and you were able to pass emissions We suggest you take the receipt for the new EGR valve back to the company you purchased it from and ask for a refund We are not able to warranty the part for you as you did not purchase it from us Your repair bills and subsequent emissions pass support the return of the new EGR valve Thank you

To Whom it may Concern,Ms. [redacted] brought her car into Divine's for diagnosis because she couldn't pass emissions due to a check engine light. After we diagnosed the check engine light it was found that while the EGR valve was functioning, the port from the EGR to the intake... was clogged. We also determined that the EGR valve had recently been replaced. [redacted] , our manager, called Ms. [redacted] with this finding and she approved us to clean the ports. After the repairs were complete we test drove the vehicle and set all readiness monitors. No codes returned and she was able to pass emissions. See attached emission test. Ms. [redacted] called us the following Monday to inform us that the check engine light was back on. After scanning the vehicle a second time a code P0405 had come up. That code indicates low voltage coming from the EGR valve to the PCM. After checking for a wiring fault we determined that the EGR valve was defective. We did not install or provide the EGR valve. Due to the valve being brand new we suspected that the old valve was still around because the EGR valve was not the cause of the original emission failure. We found the original EGR valve in her trunk and checked to see if was still functioning. We did this to try and save her time and money. We found that the original EGR valve was functioning properly and called Ms. [redacted] . We needed to reinstall the original EGR valve and perform a test drive. Ms. [redacted] did not have enough gas in her tank to perform the test drive but authorized us to put $10.00 in her tank. We put in the fuel, test drove the vehicle and determined the EGR was now functioning properly with no codes returning. Ms. [redacted] was charged only for the diagnosis and the fuel. She was not charged for removing and replacing her old EGR valve. See attached invoice. Divine's made every effort to save Ms. [redacted] money. Divine's is also not responsible for her wasted time. We're sorry that Ms. [redacted] did not bring her car to us before she purchased and installed the new EGR valve. Thank you

There was no damage on my rear bumper prior to it being towed, yet it was there when I got it back. Logic would say the damage occured from the tow company. This business is a joke. I'm aware that my car was hooked from rear considering that is where the gouge in my bumper isThere's no indication of damage because, as I said more than once, I was denied the opportunity to inspect my vehicle before signing the "receipt" that notes a release of liability at the bottomYou did wrong and you know itI want it fixed or refunded so I can get it fixed myself as the entire bumper will need replaced

We intend to do everything we can to uphold that rating and now that I am aware of your complaint I am researching it and will get back to you by Monday evening, with a full response and any supporting documents. In the meantime, I will tell you that we obtain registered owner information from the Department of Licensing and are inspected and audited by the *** *** ***. Divines would never fraudulently turn anyone over to collection. We are a family owned business that has been serving Spokane since and we would like to remain in business well into the future. [redacted] I'm sorry...but part of this isn't true and they are leaving parts of the story out. I took the car in on a Saturday and they didn't get done until around closing time. So when I drove off an hour later the engine light came back on and they were closed so I had to wait until Monday morning to call. First off, I was told that the unclogging the valves was going to clear the engine light so the car will pass. And that I wouldn't need a waiver. I paid over $233 for a lie that was told to me. So when I talked to [redacted] on Monday and told him that the engine light was still on. He told me to bring the car in. So I did on that Thursday (when I found someone that can bring me back to work) So when I handed [redacted] the keys to my car, he went to read the codes that was coming up and came back in the office and told Mark ( the mechanic) "that wierd its reading the same code". [redacted] called me and told me that the new egr valve that I had put in the car was defected and the old one was still good. (Why is he in my trunk looking around for stuff without my permission? If [redacted] would've communicated with me that he was charging me to put the old valve back on and how much it will cost me, it wouldn't have been a problem. He tells me after the fact. That should've been my chose if I wanted it done. Mark communicated with me about what he was going to do and how much it'll cost before he did it. And I gave him the ok. Even though it didn't take care of the problem like he said it would. And the $10 gas, yes that's correct. I told them to put gas in to test drive it.

I have learned by trying a couple other places...that Divines is the most efficient..knowledgeable and trustworthy..so I go back to them time after time! I want to know they care for my car and they do care and they are upfront about what ails my car. They give me reasonable rates at the same time they give me quick and thorough service. For 6 years I have entrusted them with my car:)
