periodontist to have them placed and they return to have the implants restored.  all oral surgeons require a referral from a dentist prior to seeing any patient.  This was explained to this patient , but he was really upset and not comprehending this.  Dental implants are not a procedure that you just show up and have done.  there are steps and planning that have to be done prior to that happening.  He had an improper concept of how the procedure works. The patient refused to communicate without yelling, swearing and threatening the office staff. This patient's behavior was completely irrational as he left our practice running down the middle of Pass Road. The police department was called for precaution due to the threats that the patient made to the staff and to disrupt the business.
