Divine Get Aways is a rip off
We purchased a membership in May 2011. From the very beginning customer service has been dismal. Our first experience using Divine was in October 2011. It was a hugh fiasco. The Divine customer service rep told us we would receive a rebate check in the amount of $783 for booking our Panama Canal cruise through our membership. Long story short we never received the rebate promised. Divine cut off communication with us after several attempts by phone and email to resolve the matter. In mid-December 2011(inwriting) we demanded that Divine Get Aways refund our membership. Their response to our demand was to say that the contract was final and they had no legal obligation to make a membership settlement refund. The program they marketed is a scam and a fraud. We have never benefited from so called member benefits/rewards or deep discounts. When we think about how much we paid for our membership it makes no sense to us why Divine also demands an annual membership fee to use the membership. Since 2011 we have used our Divine Get Away membership once. We found that the so called discounts they obtain for members is nonexistent. Lesson learned from this experience: We got scammed. If what they are selling sounds too good it is too good to be true. Don't get conned like we did.

Review: I know longer want to be a member of Packaged Packages. I want to discontinue my membership. I'm unable to contact someone from the main office.

In the past six months I've tried to contact someone from the administrative office. I'm transferred to a sales rep. I have not used Packaged vacations services ---never.Desired Settlement: Discontinue my membership as soon as possible. Do not bill me.

Review: My account number with Paradise Escapes: Account # [redacted] On10/30/2010, My wife and I joined Paradise escapes and paid them $1295.00 for a 2 year membership fee. They were suppose to give large discounts and other have other incentives for vacation travelling. When we attempted to use the cruise rewards and get discounts for a cruise, in Sept 2011, we found out that the whole thing was just a scam and we got a better price from the cruise line than from Paradise escapes. At the time we signed up I knew we had a two year commitment and I paid them the annual fee. Our 2 year committment was up in Sept 2012 and I am not paying them any more. We have never used their services and we have wasted money.Desired Settlement: no more letters or email from them reflecting we owe them anything, because we have never used their service

Review: My husband and I signed up with this company that misrepresented itself as a vacation service but has since then failed to live up to its promises. We have paid them each month but have received nothing for our money.Desired Settlement: Refund of all monies paid to them and the cancellation of all contractual obligations between us.

Review: I purchased the vacation plan and they allege in the siminar that vacations that I would take would be discounted substantially. However when I booked the trip I did not save anymore that my [redacted] or state government discount or etc.. In fact I received better discounts from other resources. I even booked a hotel in [redacted] through them to attend a graduation of our daughter when First Lady Michelle Obama was the keynote speaker, the hotel was nasty and awful.Desired Settlement: To receive the 3300.00 dollars back that I paid and / the 7 day cruise vacation of my choice as promised from them even if I did not purchase a vacation plan
