Please note the email [redacted] sent to [redacted] is August 4th 2017. The email (as noted) included a final invoice. See [redacted]’s response “I am beyond excited!!!!!!!!!”. This is very different from what she notes in her complaint: “When I finally did ask what is this tour and where am I going, she...

sent me an itinerary, and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was not for me. When I said this is not for me,, she told me I would lose my deposit if I cancelled. I was devastated but decided to make the best of it.” Clearly the itinerary would have been shown to [redacted] prior to an invoice for final payment. Whatever [redacted] was feeling prior to final payment, her response to it was “I am beyond excited !!!!!!!!!”.
 
[redacted] claims [redacted] “did not ask me my activity level”. [redacted] did ask her if she had any medical needs. The two are not one and the same thing but the tours are designed for all travelers and are very moderate activity. If [redacted] was troubled by the activity level on this tour it suggests to me she should have disclosed any concerns before departure.

I am rejecting this response because:To see a response like this just boggles my mind. I have been nothing but honest from day one, trying to resolve this with both parties.  Questioning my honesty is nothing short of outrageous, how dare you say I am or was not honest. Before you go making accusations maybe you should see my doctor's report. I saw him just before I left, I had no health concerns and I have no preexisting conditions. And as far as someone wearing toxic scents, NOT deodorant,  well I thought it would be like cigarette smoke, a big no no, so it did not even cross my mind people would be wearing heavy scent. I did nothing wrong. I had NO health concerns, if I did I would have listed them. If you had been kept abreast of things Mr. [redacted], you would have known, I had no idea what a tour was nor did I ever ask for a tour! What I asked for was a trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights dance before I died. Your travel agent did not do her job, and was negligent in all areas including lying to me about the horseback riding. If [redacted] did not contact Maritime Travel about the flight change as you stated, can you please let me know as [redacted] told me that Maritime Travel was indeed contacted. I want the right people compensating me for what was done to me,not the wrong people.You speak about others enjoying their trip, what does anyone else have to do with this? It is not my concern who did or did not enjoy this trip. The issue at hand was I got gravely sick and although I paid almost 400.00 for insurance I was not given any medical aid. I tried to make the best of your travel agents negligent acts. You did not address the lies I was told by your agent and I am just finding out this very minute that [redacted] DID INDEED contact Maritime Travel to advise of the flight cancellation on October 7th 2017. So before you start calling someone a liar or dishonest Mr. [redacted], I would look in the mirror.

First of all I can say with 100% confidence that all the guests on this tour with the obvious exception of [redacted], enjoyed themselves based on the follow up survey that Collette did. It seems to me that [redacted] does not even know what a "tour" is. Also the client should be aware that if they are travelling by coach with a number of other people from literally all over the world there could be some that wear perfume. That being the case [redacted] should not have answered the questionnaire that [redacted] sent her the way she did on the first question. She indicated that there were no health issues. If she got that ill then I would suggest that she was not honest answering the questionnaire. 
The client needs to take some responsibility and she should have informed us that perfume or other scents such as deodorant could pose a problem. 
As far as the airline ticket from [redacted] back to [redacted] says that we were advised of this change. The branch did not receive the email but we will take responsibility for that.

language against my men while I was on the phone with them. I was shocked to hear her express herself in such manner, not something I expected from a young professional to be. We explained that every item she sends to storage is listed on an inventory sheet and tagged with an inventory sticker. (she was provided with copies- 87 items in total) We are 100% liable for those items. We *don't allow for items to be removed without us present to mark the inventory accordingly. We do allow people to come inspect, add or remove items as long as it's scheduled in advance. We offered [redacted] to follow the men or meet us at the storage and view the unloading process but she declined. We had provided her with information on packing prior to her move and indeed we wrapped all of her furniture free with moving blankets. We can go on and on about the process but it will not solve the issue at hand. I will refund her credit card the entire $296 she is seeking. We can make the entire communications, emails, phone conversations and statements from the team public if needed but I typically don't like to expose customer information of that kind on the web because it stays there forever.

A friend recommended another company to me but after reading recent reviews and talking to that company and divine moving, I decided to go with divine moving. They moved me 3 weeks ago and the 3 guys who did the job were a class act at all times and couldn't have done a better job. I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

My relocation was almost getting to be mess exceeding all possible levels. I did not confirm any mover till the day of moving. I just got lucky to have the number of divine moving & storage referred by my colleague. They arrived on time, did an on spot survey and gave me an acceptable quotation. They were quite fast and prompt at packaging, loading, transporting and unloading. How could they be so smooth in such a shortly notified task? I am determined, for any kind of relocation, divine moving & storage is my only choice.

I hired divine moving & storage for my move without really knowing much about them. So, naturally, I was quite concerned about the move. They gave me a realistic quote and they stuck to it later on. The crew of 4 men handled every piece of my belongings very carefully. They were very efficient and didn’t really waste any time. After they left, I had almost a week between my first and last delivery dates. So I kept calling them to know about the whereabouts of my valuables. I think it’s quite rational to deliver within the delivery window but I went quite overboard with the calling. But the people at their customer service were very polite every time I called. They answered my questions with proper information and assured me. My goods arrived within 6 hours still left on the timeframe. Everything was intact and I couldn’t be any happier.

I booked Divine moving & storage to help me move from ** to **. The packers and movers were extremely quick, efficient and friendly. Also they were able to figure out parking in a difficult area, and were still right on time. They packed everything very neatly and carefully. They also helped us out at our new home. Highly recommended.

Divine moving & storage was great! They called me to let me know when they planned on arriving after their first job. The three men were quick and efficient. They disassembled my bed and put it back together. They also asked a lot of questions about small details. I even asked them to put extra pads down on the floor and they were more than willing. Overall I was very happy with the experience!

Review: I learned of Divine Moving and Storage through the Revdex.com site (Revdex.com).

I filled out the online form through the Revdex.com site to Divine Moving and Storage, and I followed up with a phone conversation to Divine Moving and Storage two days later. I spoke with [redacted].

I had two primary concerns. It is uncontested that both were noted through the online form submitted through the Revdex.com site, but [redacted] argues that I never provided the two details of utmost importance regarding my move to her during our phone conversation.

My primary concerns were:

(1) The move had to occur between 10am and 1pm, on April **, or I would be penalized $1,000 by my building, and

(2) I needed access to my property, because I needed to confirm that the integrity and value of my property would be maintained by the storing facility, and to do this, I would need to check on several items throughout the month that my property would be stored.

When I spoke with [redacted], she assured me the facility was secure and that the movers could move me within the timeframe indicated, provided my goods were packed when they arrived. I told her all goods to be moved would be packed when the movers arrived.

April **, the first words out of the [redacted]’s mouth, who arrived to move my goods, were: we will not be able to move you within this time frame. I’m standing there in a state of shock, as he continued on to relay his plan to accomplish the move. He revealed that I would not have access to freely inspect my property because my valuables would be subject to an open storage arrangement.

I was irate.

I called Divine Moving and Storage, and I eventually spoke with [redacted]. She said that she told me about the storage arrangement, and that she has been doing her job for twenty years – this first assertion is untrue, and the later has no bearing on the conversation in question. Her time on the job is irrelevant.

I directed her to look at my written communication to Divine Moving and Storage, and the written confirmation of my move details. I would never permit my valuables to be subject to an open storage warehouse that I did not have access to and could not inspect as needed to be assured that my goods were protected and their integrity maintained. Further, I needed to remove certain goods from my property before the month was up.

She suggested I [redacted] another storage facility for them to move my goods – at 9am! I informed her that I needed to vet the storage company, and it wouldn’t suffice to just [redacted] another storage company or even trust a Revdex.com rated company – that is how I ended up in this predicament.

I am a law student, and I rely on what I see in writing, such as, the move confirmation from Divine Moving and Storage, which does not specify that property is stored in an open facility. I also relied Divine’s rating under the Revdex.com.

Faced with having to pay a $1,000 fine plus possible legal action for not moving out on time and preventing the new owners from taking ownership, I continued with the move under duress.

The [redacted] moving man, then told me he would not be able to move my goods as packed; he said some of the boxes were too small. I had repacked my blender and other kitchen appliances into their original cases, but this thug insisted that I pay for boxes from their truck to store the smaller boxes. Since I was being forced to pay for boxes, I tried to throw everything I could into them.

Three moving men were there in total, all three movers were Hispanic or spoke Spanish. The con-artist-thug, was short, stocky and did all the talking; a large man who didn’t seem to understand what FRAGILE meant; a tall thin gentleman, who was very polite and was the only person of the three that I would have consented to have moved my goods, and the only person of the three that earned his pay and tip that day.

Why was I forced to pay for so many boxes? What happened to my large furniture being covered with blankets – FREE of charge, per the move confirmation?! I couldn’t say anything more because these people had possession of my valuable property, and I feared what would happen if I didn’t submit to this blatant raping of my wallet.

Between all three men repacking, covering, disassembling my bed, and moving my property from my apartment to the move truck, it took 1.5 hours (9:30 – 11am). The [redacted] came up (at 11am) when they had loaded the truck and told me that although the minimum charge was 3 hours of service for three men plus 1 hour of travel, he would have to charge me an additional hour.

I was charged $420 for 4 hours of labor; $105 for 1 hour of travel time; $99 for 1 month of storage; $32 for a toll; $98 for boxes for a total of $754. After the way I had treated by Divine Moving Company AND this [redacted], he had the audacity to tell me that a tip was customary - as if I was an uncivilized and uneducated animal and needed this remedial tutorial from someone like him.

Under duress, and in fear of what he would do to my property in his possession, I gave him $140 tip to be split between the three men.

Then, he asked me to sign something stating that my property was not damaged when it arrived at the storage site. This I refused.

Divine Moving Company and Storage uses intimidating tactics to get consumer funds, misrepresents their services, engages in unethical price increasing, fails to appropriately advertise storage services (open warehouse; customers are not permitted on site to inspect their goods) among other unethical practices.Desired Settlement: I want this company investigated. If it is found that multiple people have experienced similar treatment, they should be unlisted from Revdex.com site.

Additionally,

I'd like a refund of

1 hour of service, the cost of all boxes, and $93 dollars of the tip I gave under duress (only 1 mover earned a tip).

Further, I'd like the move confirmation to be revised and the the nature and condition of their storage facility to be included in clear and unambiguous language.

Lastly, I'd like an apology for the treatment I suffered and the emotional distress that was caused, particularly, by not being able to confirm that my valuables are safe. Also, please note that I am still uncertain of the condition of my property as it is still in their storage facility, and I may have to ask this company for additional recovery if an inspection of my property reveals damage.

If you want to know what efficiency is, just hire the movers from Divine moving & storage. They were absolutely brilliant during my move. The crew arrived right on the scheduled time. They were very well equipped and got to work immediately. They packed up my 3-bedroom house within a blink of an eye. It was their incredible speed and accuracy that truly impressed me. It seemed like they came, saw and conquered. The men were always helping each other out. The organization and coordination among them was brilliant. I believe the men have been working together for a long time. Their foreman was a very experienced man and knew exactly how to get the best job out of his men. I strongly recommend this company.

Given how efficiently Divine moving & storage handled my last move, I can’t help but be thankful to them. The movers arrived early on the moving day to get a head start. They packed everything with precision and skills. The boxes containing breakables were attentively packed using a lot of tapes. They were off to my new house fairly quickly. The men safely transported each of my items. They unpacked and put everything where they belong. It was a very easy and nice move since we didn’t have to stress about anything.
