The business cancelled my membership and did not refund me the large account credit. The owner was so angry at my email that he did not address my concerns or address the matter of my credit balance, he simply cancelled my membership, knowing fully that he would be stealing over $400 from me. I have all the email threads between me and the business that clearly shows he needed to address the matter of my credit balance prior to canceling. The owner chose to cancel the membership and ignoring my credit balance; doing so in another rude email. The owner had full knowledge and took complete advantage of a long standing customer. I'm happy to share the email threads with whomever would like to work with me on this. Thank you!

I am not satisfied with their response because they never offered any resolution at all. I had no issue with being charged for 2 apts not cancelled in time. I have an issue with them not using my saved credit that I pay for monthly and was using for those services that were cancelled. I joined their club from very beginning and there was no policy to take money from debit card if apt not cancelled in time. Me [redacted] refused to send me a copy of the original contract that I signed,instead kept sending the current one. On top of that... Me. [redacted] told me (and it is in their current policy ) that I would have to email a different address if I wished to cancel my membership. I responded that I would not cancel until I knew I would be able to use credits already paid for . **. [redacted] ignored me, no one would answer phone or return my call requesting info on my credits. I tried to book service and it would NOT let me book it. Again.. I was ignored by phone and emails . Then I get an email from [redacted] stating that HE canceled my membership ! Ok... As upset as I was about that... Their policy clearly says once act is cancelled, you have 30 days to redeem credits . His email said it was effective with his email. This is where I have a major issue! . I paid for these services and am entitled to use them . Having been ignored and blocked from doing that ... Is totally wrong. It goes against their own policy that they kept sending me . U have NEVER had a complaint against any business before and had no trouble at all with the salon itself, only this episode and the way I was dealt with . [redacted] never tried to meet me half way and refused to even discuss my unhappiness. I do not feel like a business should get away with taking money from me and not allowing me to get the services paid for. This is theft in my book. I want the credits for my saved up monthly service credits or a refund of the $39.00 per month for each one I saved up and was not allowed to use as per their own policy. I just don't feel this is an unreasonable request after the way they failed to respond ethically and follow the cancellation policy they created.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The company is correct that I did cancel my first appointment within the timeframe allowed, but failed to tell you that I left a VOICEMAIL and never spoke to anyone.  Called on 3/23/15 to cancel my appointment on 3/24/15.  Since I did not hear from anyone, I called back on 3/24/15 only to get the VOICEMAIL again.  The next time I did hear from this company was on 3/25/15 when they called and left a voicemail to tell me I did not show for my appointment.  I immediately called back and advised the company I did not reschedule an appointment with them and I did not know about any reschedule.  I never verbally spoke to anyone from 3/23/15 until I called and spoke with someone on 3/35/15 around 6 pm.  I never agreed to the reschedule and I do not know how a company can hold someone responsible when I never spoke to them and never knew about the appointment.Regards,[redacted]

There is no documentation to prove this false claim. Attached you will find my response the day I was charged $49 incorrectly as well as a record of 4 months of regular visits. They were more than happy to see me and take my  money until I contested the error in a cancellation charge.  I am in the process of getting refunds from Groupon for unused groupons, but the $49 is a direct charge from Divine Skin Spa. I was at the spa at the appointed time and was told by the front desk there would be no cancellation charge if I rebooked the next day with a massuese of my choice instead of seeing  the last minute substitution they made without my knowledge and consent. Obviously, I would not have left if I thought I would be charged $49, but I was promised there would be no penalty and an appointment the next day. When I complained about the charge to the owner, they cancelled the appointment for  the next day and also charged me a fee with groupon. [redacted] double charged me for the services I was promised and didn't get. I want a refund. Groupon has yet to reimburse me $29 for the coupon Divine Skin Spa redeemed without rendering services. He owes me $49 plus $29 totaling $78.
