I am rejecting this response because: My daughter did not drive the car in an "overheated" condition for a week as Division Motors states. It overheated as she pulled into the driveway at home and we immediately added coolant and began to look for a leak in the system. The overheating condition was fixed and no coolant leak was found. We restricted the amount of driving on the vehicle and continued to look for the leak. The car did not have any other overheating episodes. Then the water pump froze up and broke the timing belt as she was driving to work. Our mechanic repaired the water pump and timing belt only to find several of the valves had been damaged when the timing belt broke. He also stated that the coolant leak was coming from the water pump. Division Motors states that "we should have taken the car to his mechanic". Their establishment is over 40 miles away and driving the car that far would have been a risk. Also, their mechanic was unable to properly install the rear hatch panel and I was not inclined to trust his abilities or his judgement as he did not find a leaking water pump as the car was on their lot. I took it to my mechanic, whom I have been dealing with for 20 years and trust implicitly. It was his opinion also that the car was not serviced at all while in the possession of Division Motors. Division Motors also in their response neglected to respond to the issues that were to be fixed prior to us taking possession of the car. The car was advertised on Craig's List as "Reliable Transportation" and has proved to be anything but. I am not asking for all of my money back, as I test drove the car and for the time that I drove it, no problems appeared. We bought the car "AS IS" as Division Motors pointed out, but they did not tell us about a faulty water pump that they either knew about or did not perform any vehicle maintenance to find such problems and still sold us the the vehicle as "Reliable Transportation".

Review: We purchased a car, a 2003 [redacted] FE, for my daughter from Division Motors in [redacted] PA in August.. When I test drove the car it ran fine but had several issues I wanted fixed prior to buying it. It did not have a driver seat belt or a drivers side passenger seat belt, the plastic cover on the motor was not attached, the rear door panel was not installed on the rear hatch, the hood latch was not working, it needed an oil change and the airbag light was on on the instrument panel. I talked to the sales man and he said he would have all of these issues taken care of. This was on a Wednesday night and we were going to pick up the car on Saturday, presumably giving them enough time to fix all of the issues. When my wife and daughter arrived to pick up the car on Saturday, none of the issues had been resolved. We should have backed out of the deal right then and there, but my daughter was adamant that she wanted the car. They then proceeded to install the driver's seat belt and installed the rear door panel. We took the car home and the next day the check engine light came on, we had the codes read at a [redacted] and found it to be several sensors malfunctioning. My daughter then took the car back to Division Motors where the installed the passengers seat belt and did something to get the check engine light to go out. My daughter drove the car for a week and she pulled into the driveway with it over heating. We added some fluid and started looking for a leak. We could not find one and she drove it for another week before the car quit running and would not start. We had it towed to our mechanic and he diagnosed it as a bad water pump that froze up and broke the timing belt. After repairing those 2 items, $1100.00, he also said that half the valves in the motor were bent and that to repair them would be around $4500.00 total (with the original repair). We called Division Motors and were told that we didn't have a warranty and that since their mechanic didn't look at they were not at fault.Desired Settlement: I would like to get at least 50% of our money back because they sold us a car that they obviously did not do any maintenance on.
