Dixie Tree Experts

Review: On 03 Oct 13 I signed an agreement with [redacted] of Dixie Tree Experts to a downed tree cut and split for firewood. I paid a deposit required by [redacted] of $175.00. He was supposed to cut and split the tree on Sun 06 Oct. He never showed and didn't call. I called him twice and left a message asking when he was coming to do the work. He never returned my call. I was able to reach him by phone on Mon 07 Oct, asked why he didn't show and when he was coming. He replied he would be at my home on 08 Oct. He never showed. [redacted] cashed the check I wrote for $175.00 the same day I wrote it, 03 Oct. I verified this with [redacted]. He has not returned my deposit or done any of the work he said he would do. He wrote the contract to cut and split my tree and we both signed it. The total cost was to be $375.00 with the deposit of $175.00 which was paid. He stole my money and never did any of the work he said he would do. [redacted] is a thief and a liar. I want my money back and I want to warn anyone else about him.Desired Settlement: I want my deposit back.
