Review: I brought a 2003 Ford Explorer for 3200 cash money paid for I have not receive no titles or license plate next month going be the third time I'm need a temp tag I been calling and I been giving a answer it havent came in they having problems getting plates im not the only one and going to the car lot the owner never there. I just have a bill of sale paper .Desired Settlement: Either I get my titles and license or I want my whole refund

Review: I went to Dixieland "Quality" Used Cars and since the purchase on September 5th of this year, I have had to deal with [redacted]. A rude, obnoxious, irrant, disrespectful, and unprofessional individual that has treated me like crap since the initial purchase of this vehicle. I have only put 300 miles on this car that has spent approximately 3-4 weeks in the shop for an extreme amount of problems that should have been addressed before the car was sold to anyone. I have already spent $3400 towards this car. I have repeatedly asked for my refund, but to no avail. recently the car was leaking anti freeze so I called [redacted] about it and told him I was bringing the car over. Eventually I was told I needed to pay another $160 for a repair, and of course whenever I try to have a professional conversation with [redacted] he hangs up in my face repeatedly, he yells at me so I yell at him. Then I have to go to his office where the owner Mr. [redacted] is occassionally there and I finally was able to speek with. The first month of issues I still was required to pay my first carnote in October and then I got $80 waived from $280 payment. Then upon the next repair issue I was told ok don't pay your note and just pay for repair for November. Approximately 2 weeks ago when I dropped off the car, I asked [redacted] if he could change the temp tag and the WINDSHIELD I was promised today 11/18/14 I go to pick up my car. No new windshield I was promised and temp tag still expired from the 5th. I went in office after paying for repair at Midas next door and asked about tag [redacted] says, "OH I FORGOT ABOUT THAT!! Which is the same comment he made regarding the windshield. Considering I told this man I just got out the hospital he would not come from behind his desk to change my temp tag and I was upset. I asked loudly, "is this what you call customer service???!!!" [redacted] comes outside to tell me how loud I am and procedes to say, "YOU JUST WATCH YOU JUST WAIT I DON'T CARE WHAT MR GEORGE SAYS IF YOU DON'T PAY NEXT MONTH I'M GOING to rep!!Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund to satisfy all the hassling, inconvenience, hanging up in my face, disrespect, and unprofessionalism from [redacted] who threatens to repo my car and it has been in the shop approximately more than half of the time that I have had it. Whenever I have an issue I can not call Dixieland I am tired of being afraid to report and issue and instead of [redacted] coming to put a new tag on my car that I asked about 2 weeks ago he chooses to threaten me instead.

Review: This is the worst kind of automotive dealer. I myself am a dealer who frequents the New Orleans auction, and have bought hundreds of units here with no issues. I purchased a unit from this seller, and had a buyer for the vehicle within days. However, Dixieland was not able to obtain the title to the vehicle that they sent to auction to sell. I have no idea why you would auction a vehicle that you cannot provide a title for. The auction does not pay you until you present title. After many calls to their office, and constant runaround, the owner of the business told me how difficult it was to get a vehicle released from lien in the state of LA. The difficult part is paying for this dealer, because that is all you need to do to release lien.Save yourself a lot of trouble. I am out $160 for a windshield and $225 for transport, and consider myself lucky. Stay away from these people.Desired Settlement: $500
