NAIL POPS INTO PERPETUITY!
... although Dixon Teter clams he used a nail, specifically to avoid this. Unfortunately, they are galvanized, have rusted and continually popping up. We've had to screw down the decking ourselves and for a couple in our 70's, it's a shame that Dixon Teter and company couldn't have done it right from scratch. The contract should have been written to screw down the planking to avoid this nuisance and unsafe condition. We have already tripped from the perpetual nail pops and hurt our feet wearing Crocs footwear! We would have gladly paid the upcharge for rust resistant, stainless steel screws! Trying to shovel a walkway through the snow, the nail pops are constantly blocking that effort. It's a contractor's trick to a lay person, to low ball an estimate!

Dixon Teter prides himself with his PhD and the repeat business to his landscaping customers. Read the reviews! Some of us are more discriminating.

Never show up to see progress of my landscaping workOnly one arrogant who spoke EnglishDO NOT know how to shape bushes/hedgesDestroyed my landscaping statues and plantersDid not complete jobCall Dixon x 3-it's been now > weeks since job was "DONE>" sent hiBroke my wooden bridge that is for ornamental purpose only, but was walked on by his workersI have owned home and had other landscapersI would NEVER recommend this landscaperAll weeds were to be removed- I asked workers and was told, "we removed most of them." Rock path still not cleared of debris- even 2nd timeHe charge to much money and still never came out to see the poor job that was done- even after requesting his presence x Never received curiosity call - just arrived without a call x Working know NOTHING about landscapingAsked workers to make sure backyard gate was closed and locked- not done- my Bostons got out!!!
I am a very educated lady who has owned homes in differed states and NEVER had such a problem with a landscaper I even paid a high price because I am now handicapped and unable to do my own garden workI was taken advantage of and not listened to because on non English speaking workersWhen I tried to ahow workers how to trim bushes, I was left x a "hack job" on the hedges in my English gardenHedges were left different heights
I laugh Dixon shows he has a PhD- but in Psychology- not in any Horticulturist or a Landscape Architect, nor is a Certified Nursery Landscape Professional (CNLP)
