On November 2, we ran a promotional sale on our website for light kits The coupon that we sent out to current customers stated the following: Use Coupon Code [redacted] at checkout to see the discount applied to all products you purchase from [redacted] and its subcategories Our IT department mistakenly forgot to uncheck a certain box on our back end when choosing the categories/products the coupon was good for The customer purchased a golf cart complete body kit that was not supposed to have been included in the coupon Once we realized this, we immediately changed/fixed the coupon to reflect thisWe contacted the customer and let him know of the mistake and that we could not ship the item he purchased at the discounted price and that it was a mistake We understand the customer was upset and were willing to work things out with the customer, however it was clear that was not an option As a result, we immediately refunded the customer in full. Our website specifically states that in the event of a typographical error or other error in advertising, etc., we reserve the right to fix the situation or refuse the purchase and refund This was the conclusion that we reached

I am rejecting this response because:The response from DIY golf LLC was that they admitted to making the mistake but will not fulfill the order, It's bad business, its advertising The reason I rejected it was because they said nothing about fulfilling their commitment to the order They essentially said they would do nothing, which is what they said on the phone when I spoke with them.I am not sure of the list of reasons to reject but they committed and showed a price online but did not fulfill that order

I am rejecting this response because that is absolutely not the conversation I had with the gentleman on the phone. It is NOT the exact picture of the product and he the owner stated as much. I'm a bit put off by this response. The Taillights are in absolutely no way OEM Style or otherwise. I am replacing factory lights and ordered this product based on the OEM Style claim and what arrived is NOT OEM in any shape Manor or form. Templates or not, this is false advertising for this product and I made that clear on the phone nearly two weeks ago. I just looked to reference your item and I see you have changed it by removing OEM from the listing which is less misleading, but the fact is those lights are NOT what comes in the package. For whatever reason this company seems to think a red light constitutes factory and or OEM. If that's the case I propose they start packaging 2 aviation beacon lights and call them a factory style upgrade. They don't seem to grasp the difference. Attached is the pic of what they 'claim' to be sending you and attached is what arrives. The OEM lights they show in the picture has the 2 OEM mounting holes. What arrives is a NON OEM substitute with 4.

Our listings that are "OEM" state that they are "Original Equipment" by the manufacturer.  95% of our listings online are in fact Aftermarket products and state "OEM Factory Style", or "Aftermarket Items based on OEM specifications".  The product (light kit) that the customer purchased and...

states is "OEM" is 100% not an OEM picture or product.  We know this because we manufacturer the light kit in China.  The picture itself is also a picture that we took of the exact product that we manufacture in China.  Furthermore, any golf cart light kit requires the body to either be cut out to accommodate the headlight and tail lights or holes will have to be drilled to install the light kit.  This is the case with any Aftermarket or OEM light kit in the industry. The owner of the company called the customer and left a voicemail.  He also sent emails to the customer explaining what happened and to inquire what we could do to resolve this situation.  No email nor phone call was returned.  We explained to the customer that we would be willing to return the light kit for a refund or offer a discount for the inconvenience.  We also expressed that we would have no issues shipping any parts of the light kit that were missing.  We are willing to do what we can to resolve this situation with the customer.  We look forward to doing so at some point in the near future.  However at this point, we can not do much without the customer reaching back out to us.
