Review: I ordered 16 windows on Sept 9, 2013 with a promised delivery date of Sept 20, 2013 with 7 of the windows being tempered glass as indicated on the sales order. They were well aware of tempered glass when the 10 day promised delivery was given to me. No windows as of Sept 19, and no answer until finally Sept 26 at which time no firm delivery date was given. Again unanswered emails until Oct 1 I get a delivery date of Oct 11. Being unacceptable for a 40 day delivery I felt that maybe I won't see them by that date so I called the credit card company and disputed the sale. I was told at this time that tempered glass ALWAYS results in extended delivery times. Well, why didn't you tell me that when I was placing the order. You hid that information just to get the sale? Oct 8 rolls around and I get a call that they want to deliver the winddows on Oct 11 but I have to reverse the credit card dispute. I agree to reverse the dispute which results in an additional 7 day delay. Delivery was Oct 19, 2013 which is 40 days later. Upon delivery I asked him if it is necessary for me to do an inspection of all of the windows and he said "No, that won't be necessary as I have inspected all of the windows and they are all good". With that he left. I immediately started installing the windows and then late in the day I found that the 7 tempered glass windows were made the wrong size - too big. I notified them on Oct 19 and did not hear from them until Oct 22 via an email that said they were trying to contact me. Still no contact until I called him on Oct 28 by phone where he finally discovered that there were 7 windows involved and not just 1. I told him that I am trying to make them fit but all my rough openings have to be redone. I can't wait for replacements because of their track record and the fact that the room is open to the elements. No word from them between Oct 28 and Nov 9.Desired Settlement: Since I did not see this being resolved I redid all of the rough openings to fit the larger windows. I then emailed them and requested a refund of $500 to compensate me for having to redo the rough openings of the 7 windows. They said no. I told them that this was far cheaper than redoing 7 tempered glass windows and delivering them to me and taking back 7 windows that would be hard to sell. Still no cooperation. They would not negotiate a settlement on this. Not a good way to do business.
