I have been in the commercial construction business for 30+ years employed by a top contractor in New York stateI say this for reasons, I know quality construction and I am an older guy that does not typically use the internet to purchase things, let alone a building! I contacted local vendors both online and some in person to request quotationsI received only oneI questioned why I was unable to even get quotes, that is when I discovered DIYI used their calculator which I found to be fantastic to get a quote Skeptical I called them on the telephone and asked if I could pay with a credit card, which I was told yes with no premium for cc paymentI explained that I wished to pay this way because if my material showed up and was crap I would cancel paymentThey agreed whole heartedly! Incidentally, the price I agreed to was the price on the calculator at DIY's website, no upsell or hidden charges This made me even think more it was a scam, they were to easyI asked for a delivery date and was told weeks to which I asked to have moved up because of impending weather in New YorkThe owner told me he would have to make some arrangements and call me backHe did call me back same day and tell me he had arranged to meet my date to which I was surprisedHe also suggested a preffered builder which I was again very skeptical of ( there is a pattern here) I got a price from builder and was told my building would be complete in days for a very reasonable priceI agreed again paying by ccThe day came for the building to arriveI inspected the material before I would let them unload itIt was immaculate, I was very impressed with the quality and the handling by the driverNext the builder called and said he was on the way in the middle of the day on a Thursday from another job across the stateI was told by the owner they would not work the weekend and would likely come back the next week to finish my buildingThey arrived around noon and got right to workBefore they left for the day the sides were framed and the end trusses were upFriday afternoon they packed up and left with my building 100% complete When I say impressive that is an understatementThat was three years ago, I have just placed an order for a larger building and have received a great welcome as a returning customerI actually saved a great deal of money by talking with the owner and his expertise with these building is pricelessBuying something of this magnitude is a big commitment, this business realizes that and treats there customers accordinglyI recommend them all the time and I will use them againGreat value, quality materials, expertiseWow!

This was the best experience in ordering, receiving and building I have ever had in all my experiences and I am old This company bends over backwards to please Always friendly and response time is great The price for the quality of barn is more that worth it I had priced this size building in Virginia and could not find any comparisons The DIY builders were efficient, polite and very hard working They knew what they were doing and completed job within time frame

Ordered my pole barn from DIY Delivery was faster than expectedThe delivery itself went very smooth and the driver was polite, courteous and helpful
None of the order was damaged except for some scratches on metal, which was not a big deal but the company said they would send me paint if I was not happy with the scratchesAlso, the township wanted a higher wind rating on the trusses so they changed the order to comply with the requirements
All in all the whole process went smoothlyEveryone at DIY was knowledgeable and helpful

Out of all the stresses of moving, building a house, clearing and fencing new pasture, and building a barn, the DIY process has gone the smoothest I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism of the sales and technical teams at DIY, as well as the quality of their product We built a 30'wx48'wx16'h barn with three horse stalls and a tack room, all supplied by DIY The barn looks great My personal advice would be to go with their options, because they are worth the money Get the overhangs, the soffit, bubble insulation, and post protectors at minimum It is a small amount of money for the quality you end up with Thanks DIY, I'll be calling when we build a storage building on our property in future years
Also, I did read these Revdex.com reviews prior to purchasing, as well as reviews on other sites I can testify as with other reviews I just read prior to posting mine I was also very apprehensive about sending such a large amount of money via wire to a company I had never dealt with out of state However, I went ahead and did it, and absolutely have zero regrets DIY was more honest to deal with than my local contractors, and much more communicative I am so thankful for their wonderful service at a very stressful time in my life (moving our farm)

DIY was great to work with throughout the entire process from site planning to completion The materials were of very high quality and delivered as promised A few hiccups along the way were quickly resolved by DIY without question I would highly recommend the DIY team to anyone looking for a quality pole building at a great price

I placed am order for a polebarn garage may 10,we discussed changes to the order for larger poles and increased trusses for snow load, I spoke with *** *** When he sent the contract on May via email it states I have to pick the color for the garage doorsPlural, which is what I had in original plans,garage doors.The quote was for $8773.22.I signed and returned the contract and payed by visa credit card.when their project manager looked over the plans he realized in the contract break down its listed as door even though it states to pick a color for the doors,and on my drawn plans there are 2.they offered to add the door for $650+, I chose to cancel because I wasn't planning on that extra cost.they said they would refund minus the credit card charges of $186.when asked what this was they stated its in the fine print of contract and on web page DIYp

My experience with this firm has been very positive from start to finish I had many questions about the design of their buildings, the materials used, and construction detailsI researched several other companies After several initial inquiries with DIY lasting only a few minutes, I decided to request more detailed answers to my questions Thus, over the course of or perhaps extended phone conversations, one of which lasted over an hour, I determined to my satisfaction that DIY was a reputable and responsible firm marketing a quality building The answers were always straightforward and to the point On the rare instances that the rep could not answer the question, he always said he would get the needed information and call me back ASAP And he always did Of the or persons I dealt with however briefly at the firm, all were personable and professional, expressing a desire to answer my questions and resolve concerns I had about particular issues Additionally, I must comment upon the Preferred Builder I used I talked to two individuals who used the Builder to whom I was referred Both were extremely pleased with the construction Likewise, that Builder did a great job in putting up my pole barn Thank you, DIY, for that referral In the end, I now have a quality pole barn that meets my needs, is attractive, and cost effective
Would I purchase from DIY in the future Without reservation, I certainly would if I had need of a building kit they could supply For anyone who is considering construction of a pole building, I encourage you to discuss your needs with DIY Although you might decide that DIY cannot meet your needs, I'm sure you will find your experience to be a pleasurable and beneficial one
