I am rejecting this response because:
TThe tears shown were due to your carpet installer never showing up to re stretch and *** the carpet as you said they wouldThe carpet was never replaced before we moved in and was already very stained and urine spottedWe cleaned the carpet at our expenseMy wife was at the walkthrough but was never given a chance to dispute anything your 3rd party assessor saidHe wouldn't even speak to her, so there was really no reason to be there any wayThe carpet was never replaced before tenancy as I said, and was ,I'm quite sure, already paid for with the previous tennants depositNot to mention the leaks and mold that were never repaired and the roach infestation we were forced to deal with out of our pocket that you failed to tell us about until after the lease was signed and you had our money.

I am rejecting this response because:The tears in the carpet were due to normal wear and tear to the seams due to foot traffic. The carpet was not replaced before we moved in, and was already very worn and stained.

I have attached just a few photos showing that there is pet damage which has ripped the carpet along with other damage such as red and black ink staining.  In addition, the carpet was saturated with pet urine and the odor was horrific. The tenant was at the walk thru when all of the damage was shown to her, and no objections were noted as it was clearly obvious.  This account is past due, has been turned over to collections, and if the tenant pays soon it will avoid additional costs of collection and fees.   Thank you.

It is true we are charing the tenant for damages done to the unit including carpet replacement since the carpet was saturated with pet urine and was torn and damaged by their pet.  I did however, pro-rate the carpet and did not charge them the full amount of the replacement. We do have full...

documentation of the condition of the unit when they moved in and when they moved out. All damages were noted and shown at the final walk-thru to the tenant, [redacted] who was there.  At the final walk-thru, damages were shown to tenant but charges were not discussed as they were unknown at that time.  It is our desire for the tenants to receive 100% of their deposit back, but when the unit has been severely damaged as this one had been, then charges above the deposit did occur and a balance is due.  Thank you.
