December 26, 2016Dear Revdex.com, When I met the complainant to give her an estimate, she and her husband had a three tab shingle roof on the surface that she wanted replaced The shingles had exceeded their warranty period and were leaking I advised her to replace the shingles with a rubber rood due to the pitch of the roof Rubber is of course, a bit more expensive..They expressed the fact that they had a shingle roof for all these years on that surface and wanted to replace it with the cheaper option of shingles I gave her and her husband a price for both rubber roof and a shingle roof and told them to contact me when they had made a firm decision They contacted me shortly thereafter and said that they had decided that they only wanted to afford the price of shingles I did the work in November of In March 2012, the customer contacted me to indicate that she had a small leak around the flashing of a window I went to her home, caulked the area (which is a standard repair for such a problem), and did not charge her a penny This is a common problem after a roof of any type is replacedWhat is confusing to me, not to mentioned by the customer is that I was contacted in October (this year) by her and asked to do a small repair to her spouting, which was unrelated to the original work Also, as the original estimate indicates, I offered a year warranty on my work I was never contacted by her to discuss any roof leaks....I spoke to her months ago (which was not addressed in the complaint) and NOTHING was ever mentioned I am in disbelief that a customer would not contact me about any issuesWhich I would have fixed for freebut instead contacted the Revdex.com This is the first time I have heard anything about this problem It makes me wonder what she is trying to achieve?I have been a sole proprietor of this business for almost years and I have never received a complaint that I did not respond to and repair if warranted I am an honest man I am not willing to offer any money to the complainant She did not exercise the appropriate channels for repair and I am sure that anyone would agreePlease note that my address for correspondence has changed, see belowSincerely, James Rupponer

rubber rood due to the pitch of the roof. Rubber is of course, a bit more expensive..They expressed the fact that they had a shingle roof for all these years on that surface and wanted to replace it with the cheaper option of shingles. I gave her and her husband a price for both rubber roof and a shingle roof and told them to contact me when they had made a firm decision. They contacted me shortly thereafter and said that they had decided that they only wanted to afford the price of shingles. I did the work in November of 2011. In March 2012, the customer contacted me to indicate that she had a small leak around the flashing of a window. I went to her home, caulked the area (which is a standard repair for such a problem), and did not charge her a penny. This is a common problem after a roof of any type is replaced. What is confusing to me, not to mentioned by the customer is that I was contacted in October 2016 (this year) by her and asked to do a small repair to her spouting, which was unrelated to the original work. Also, as the original estimate indicates, I offered a 25 year warranty on my work. I was never contacted by her to discuss any roof leaks....I spoke to her 3 months ago (which was not addressed in the complaint) and NOTHING was ever mentioned. I am in disbelief that a customer would not contact me about any issues... Which I would have fixed for free.... but instead contacted the Revdex.com. This is the first time I have heard anything about this problem. It makes me wonder what she is trying to achieve?I have been a sole proprietor of this business for almost 20 years and I have never received a complaint that I did not respond to and repair if warranted. I am an honest man. I am not willing to offer any money to the complainant. She did not exercise the appropriate channels for repair and I am sure that anyone would agree. Please note that my address for correspondence has changed, see below. Sincerely, James Rupponer
