I was chosen through the Hanley Hills Home Repair Program by *** sponsored by *** to have needed repairs done to my home. *** chose DJ Contracting to do the job. All the work was done fairly well except for the sump pump job. They did not complete the sump pump job. They also left my house and my garage in a mess. I have called them several times and left messages but I haven't heard from them yet.
To whom this may concern,My company DJ
Contracting LLC performed work done at the above address through the
*** Program. This program is a government funded program that
does not payout if the job is not complete or if the customer is not
satisfied. We were given a scope of work to be completed at
*** residence. Everything that was listed on the scope was
completed and inspected by ***. Those inspections were passed
and *** was satisfied with the work. Upon receiving
this letter from the Revdex.com, I followed up and visited ***. and walked through everything that was completed with her
that was assigned on the scope. I informed her that the work was
complete. She did not understand, but her son was there and he
understood and stated that he would try to explain it to her. I
have done my part as a contractor to make sure that the job was
completed with professional and quality work and I have reached out to
***, the organization that paid for this work to be done.
They have informed me that her scope of work was completed. I
have attached the signed payout order from *** that
*** signed stating that she agrees that the work was completed
and that she was satisfied.-- Thank You!

I am rejecting this response because: I am responding to the DJ Contracting company's rebuttal. I totally disagree and I am not satisfied with their contracting work. Yes, I signed the contract after *** presented the contract to me. Yet, at the time I was not aware of what the job consist of, or what the job was supposed to look like or what it should look like in favorable work condition. But, after everyone left, I looked again at the work and I was horribly upset at the job. I was not sure, but I felt and saw that something was not right with the project.
I called the flooring man to put a new floor in the basement. However, my contractor suggested strongly that I needed DJ Contracting to finish the poor work. The floor contractor assured me he was not able begin work until DJ Company finish specific locations on the floor. Thus, I called DJ Contracting about completing the job so my floor contractor could place the floor in the basement. However, DJ Contracting said the job was complete. I responded that my contractor could not start his work until DJ Contracting redo some spot up work. DJ Contracting said the job is complete, and he responded rudely, "that's your floor man's problem, not mine. My job is completed!"
So I called in the plumbing company to satisfy my curiosity, and I was correct. The plumber said that, "DJ met the code, however DJ Contracting did a sloppy/bad job." As far as DJ Contracting explain the job to me, no I did not understand inaccurate information and a horrible performance. DJ Contracting talked to my son and claimed my son understood. However, my son explained that he was coaching DJ Contracting on how to handle stressful situations as my son felt as if he was disrespecting me and displayed poor communication. More importantly, my son is not the client, I am the customer that needs to be satisfied, not my son!
In addition, there is a long crack in the driveway on the work they performed.
