Review: July 18, 2014, my husband and I visited the establishment which is a bar in [redacted], NJ. After I ordered a beer, I told my husband that we should go soon because it was so crowded. As he forgot that I had just purchased a beer, but after hearing my request to leave, he started to exit the building. As I followed him to the steps which exited the building, I tried to call out for him to wait while I finished my beverage since I knew I could not exit with the beer. After calling out several more times for my husband to wait, I took one step down the stairs when a male employee took my shoulders and pushed me back up to the landing and shouted that I could not exit with my drink. I looked at him shockingly, and said "don't touch me" and became angry for the physical violation. I shouted at him, discarded my drink and exited. Minutes later I told my husband and returned to speak to the manager. He did not want to disclose his last name. His first name being "[redacted]". I told him what happened, but since he did not see which employee it was or witness the physical pushing, that there was nothing more he would do. I am appalled with how he dealt with the situation, and want to ask if there can be an investigation. If there are video cameras where this scenario presents the bouncer using physical force, I could prove he did in fact push me.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology and a refund for the total amount my husband and I spent there yesterday evening. bar tab 21.00 cover charges 25.00.

I am saddened and shocked that I was treated with such hostility, and I may also consider filing this complaint with the [redacted] police department. However, since I am not physically hurt (bruised), I would be satisfied with an apology and a refund.
