Review: On Thursday, July 18th, I dropped my vehicle off to be inspected for a sterling wheel issues with a mechanic. I briefly spoke with the mechanic and let him know the issue and asked that they have a look to see what was wrong. I never signed anything authorizing repairs on the vehicle. I waited 24 hours to contact the facility for a status update on the vehicle. I was told Friday afternoon that the vehicle was still being looked at.

On Saturday morning, I was contacted by the shop and told that my vehicle was repaired. When I asked what was wrong with it, I was told they installed a new brake hose and this was done without contacting me first authorization. When I went to the office to pick up, I was told that they were too busy and couldn’t call me for approval on the repairs. I’ve worked with many mechanic shops in the past and this is the first time I’ve ever seen a shop make an unauthorized repair to a vehicle and not contact the owner first. Due to time constraints, I paid the fee because I desperately needed the vehicle and couldn’t afford any delays in transportation.Desired Settlement: I would like the charge I paid for the vehicle of $214 to be refunded.
