Review: I asked [redacted], assistant manager, if the Gold Pearl Ring that was in the display case came in Sterling Silver, she said it did and she could order it for me. I paid her the total price of

$150.71 up-front and she ordered the ring.

When the ring came in, it was a miniature of the ring I ordered, I told her this is not the ring

I ordered so please return my money.. [redacted] said she could only give me a credit ? stating

they don't give refunds? I told her , It can't be a refund if I never had any merchandise to return.

Her father, [redacted] and owner also told me that I could not have my money back.

Neither of them have a good relationship with the truth, [redacted] knew at the time, that it was

the wrong ring and even offered to change the pearl on the ring to the correct size, but now says

she never said that. Her dad slipped up today and said that the ring I wanted doesn't come

in silver!! then caught himself and said, that I changed my mind about getting the ring!? Not true!

[redacted] told me today, that if I want my money back I have to take him to court!! Shocking!!

I told him he was a crook, and I was calling the police! Then he said he would call, and

untruthful again, told the police I was causing a disturbance?? ... so he would look like the

victim I suppose...

I do hope you can do something about this, Thank you So much

[redacted]Desired Settlement: A full refund of my money...

Response:

The Revdex.com To whom it nay concern, This is a case of someone knowing the rules and acknowledging them by signing they agree. Unfortunately [redacted] wants to defraud and defame DJ's Jewelry by changing what she said and did in the story she is creating as she goes along. [redacted] came in and left several repairs, as well as placed an order for the ring she is referencing. She fell in love with a white gold and pearl ring that we had in our case. She did not want to pay that much at the time for a ring. She asked about it in silver. It is not now and was not at the time of order available from the designer in silver. She selected a similar ring from a different designer’s website (on our [redacted]). It is a similar ring in sterling silver from a different designer but not the white gold one she fell in love with. She said that was fine and placed the order. She paid in full for all of her repairs she left, as well as this ring order. It is posted in our store, on our website, and on our receipts (which she signed and received a copy of) that we do not offer refunds only exchanges. When the ring came in, she did not like the ring. It is not identical to the white gold ring. There is slight difference in the wave and a slightly smaller pearl. I told her she did not have to keep the ring that we ordered in for her. We do have to keep it, but she could exchange it for anything in the store. I recommended using it towards the white gold ring she fell in love with. I also offered to change the smaller pearl out for a larger pearl, the only price difference would be the difference in price between the larger and smaller pearls. [redacted] did not decide on anything, signed for the store credit and left. She then called her credit card company and canceled the payment in full for this ring as well as the repairs on her jewelry. Which at this point we had already repaired and she had already picked up. When we received the paperwork from the credit card company stating this, we submitted our receipts for her originally dropping off and paying for the repairs and ring order, as well our receipts from her picking up her repairs we completed for her. All signed by her. She signed giving us permission to order the ring and repair her jewelry she left with us on the originally receipt and her card receipt paying for the order and repairs. She also signed when she picked up her repairs saying she was picking up her competed repairs and was happy with the work. When the ring came in, she also signed the receipt returning her ring order and agreeing to an in store credit. As she agreed to pay for the repairs and ring order and we completed the repairs, she picked them up and we delivered the ring she ordered, the credit card company agreed with us. She has now received her paperwork from her credit card company stating this and today (1/12/16) she decided to come in and demand her money back for the ring. I told her our offer still stands; that she is able to use her store credit from her ring order, toward any purchase or multiple purchases in the store. We still have to keep the ring she ordered but want her happy. She does not have to purchase the ring that she is un-happy with. However we do have to keep it (have already had to pay for it) and are not able to refund her for it. She began to yell about how we are crooks and breaking the law and she wants her money back. That she was going to take us to court. We agreed that if she doesn’t want to get something else with her credit it would be good to let a judge decide who is in the right. This only made her madder. We asked her to leave. She said no, that she was calling the cops. We told her our store is private property and if she did not leave we would be forced to call the Police ourselves. When she did not leave we did call the Police. While we were on the phone with them she moved outside by our front door. Then went to her car. I am not sure what the officer said to her, but she did leave after talking to him. After which she began posting all over social media negative review about us. Some under her name, some under false names. All with minimal to no information about any incident, just saying not to do business with us because her experience is a night mare. These fake reviews are not only dishonest but do make us look bad. Especially since we have done everything we can to make her happy, with the exception of giving her a refund. (I have emailed the administrators of the different social media sites to try and resolve this. One review under her name with her experience is understood. Not multiples under false names. That is just slander. ) The same evening we received your email that she had posted a claim with you about us. We are not trying to be un-reasonable and are definitely not trying to rip her off. It would have been much more beneficial to us if she had loved her ring and continued to shop with us for future purchases. [redacted] has told several versions of what happened. I do not know if this is intentional or if she really cannot recall. We wish her nothing but the best and are look forward to a small claims Judge making a decision resolving this matter. Sincerely, [redacted] Manager DJ’s Jewelry

Response:

I am rejecting this response becauseThere several Fabrications s in [redacted]'s letter.# 1. There was Never! any discussion about "rules" that I would not get my money back if the ring I wanted did not come in.. #2. I'm the one is being Defrauded here! I did not Defame them. This is Fabricated#3. [redacted] did not tell me that the ring I wanted, was not available in Silver from her catalog or offer me a similar ring she found on her [redacted] from a different designer! . This is also fabricated Why would I have given her $150 if she couldn't get the ring I wanted? Doesn't make sense! THAT CONVERSATION NEVER TOOK PLACE!! AT ALL!! #4 [redacted] and her dad know very well, that my bank make an error in taking out the entire amount I spent at their store, because I went to their store in person and told John about it and that the bank was correcting the error.. Another attempt at Fabrication! , #5 The last time I went into DJ’s , I again asked [redacted] for my money back, she refused. Her dad stepped up and also refused and stated that If wanted my money back, I would have to take him to court!! He told me "the ring I ordered came in and I changed my mind!"Another Fabrication!! Then he quick changed his story to “ That ring doesn’t come in Silver! I told him he was crooked and I was calling the police, Which I did… Then he called also, to make himself look like the victim.#6 I DID NOT POST anything on Social Media except my experience in their store, which was the truth ., which is stated here.#7 I DID NOT POST anything under a false name!! I always use my own name!! This is yet another Fabrication! All I want is my money back! And this to never happen to another Senior!
