Just picked up my Chanel pants that I dropped for hem/repair. They were burned to the point of being shredded completely.
I have been a loyal customer of these people for a very long time.
My vintage silk Chanel pants were dropped off to be hemmed in perfect condition. When I went to pick them up I checked to see what kind of job they did. There are holes all over them and the fabric was heated beyond repair. I did not ask for them to be cleaned only to fix a small hole from my heel.
When I finally got to talk to the owner she denied it and she said that I brought them in that way. That is not the case at all.
The way I was treated and the amount of distress and anger I have been put they because of this is unacceptable. This is a negligent business owner.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have some compensation for what they have done and the treatment I have received. I will accept $200 For the damages. That is nowhere near the original price. At this point I want to see them out of business.

Eagle Dry Cleaners ruined my skirt and informed me that I had no recourse for it.
I brought a white J.Crew Skirt in to be cleaned as it had a couple of stains on it. When I went to pick it up, the stains were still there, as were additional stains. They explained that new stains can come out when they apply heat and suggested that I move forward with a wet clean. I had needed the skirt for the following day but could not wear it as it was so I asked more questions about the west stain. He said that b/c the skirt was 100% cotton I should be fine- it should not ruin the skirt. However, I had to sign a waiver. Before I signed the waiver, I specifically asked if, by moving forward with a wet clean and signing the waiver, it would limit my options for recourse if the wet clean was not successful in getting both the old and new stains out. I even asked if I should write that on the bottom of the waiver and was told that it would not limit my ability to process a claim should the wet clean not be successful. When I went to pick the skirt up, the wet clean process ruined the texture of the skirt, causing it to feel stiff and rigid, almost like a denim, rather than a soft cotton J. Crew skirt. I was told that that can happen with the wet clean and they suggested sending it back in for another dry cleaning which would soften it up. Additionally, the stains they caused in the first dry cleaning process were still there. So again, it was sent back to be dry cleaned, and when I picked it up today, the stains were still there and the texture of the skirt was still ruined. I asked what recourse I had at the point and I was told that since I sent a dry clean only skirt to be wet cleaned, there was nothing they could do. Since this was not the person I spoke with initially, I explained the situation to him and he stated that they would not do anything. I asked to speak with a manager and he told me to look around as he was clearly the only one there. So I asked again what recourse I had besides filing a claim with the Revdex.com and posting and Yelp and he told me that if I was going to threaten him I would have to leave. I explained to him that I had not threatened him but merely asked what recourse I had and he told me that if I did not leave, he would call the police. I then explained that if he was going to call the police, I was going to video it. He called the police and informed them that he had a disgruntled customer there who was "getting loud and would not leave" - entirely false, as the video will show, and proceeded to describe me the police. I waited a few minutes and they did not show up. I asked again what recourse I had and he said he was done talking to me b/c I clearly "did not listen." I explained to him that telling me my only recourse was to take the skirt and leave is not actually recourse at all and that I would be happy to pull the definition up for me. Eventually I left and called the police myself. It took 3 trips to the dry cleaners, as well as missing two different events in which I needed my skirt, only to finally get it back still ruined and have the police called on my b/c the agent working the provided ZERO customer service what so ever, not even offering to provide me with the managers information so that I could speak to them. I would like to know how they intend to compensate me for ruining me skirt and I am happy to share the video footage that was taken.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be reimbursed the $70 that the skirt cost as it is not wearable at this point.
