Review: [redacted] is a client of this company and handles their promotions. I also was told this information by the Marlboro representative. I was contacted via email on July [redacted] regarding a trip that I had won to the Marlboro Ranch in [redacted]. Email Subject: RSVP Now for a Trip to the Marlboro Ranch. You and your friend are invited to the Marlboro Ranch. Every year we invite a select group of smokers to our place in [redacted]. And you're one of them. Everything's paid for and there is no catch. It's just our way of saying thanks. RSVP now. You and a friend 21 years of age or older or call [redacted] or ###-###-####. The guest code, in which I will not provide here. RSVP by 7/**/2013. Limited to eligible smokers and guests 21 years of age or older. Subject to verification of eligibility. See terms and conditions below. Give us a ring Monday through Friday 9 am(ET)and 10 pm(ET) or Saturday and Sunday from 9 am(ET) to 5 pm(ET). Anyway, I still have the email for you to view if requested. I Contacted Marlboro by phone on July [redacted] and my phone on speakerphone for my son to hear in case it was a scam. I talked to the representative, gave her my name, date of birth and confirmed I was a smoker of 21 years of age or older. I asked her if the email was a scam and she assured me it was not. She asked me the guest code and I read it to her and read her the entire email. She put me on hold a couple of times and ask me different things. But when I gave her my name, she did not find immediately but did find it and even told me my address and I confirmed that as well. She told me congratulations and that I would receive a packet in the mail in 7-10 days, to fill it out and immediately return it. I said okay and thank you. I get a phone call the next day from [redacted] representative, telling me the trip was intended for my daughter. They have also said that my daughter and I must have shared email addresses. My daughter and I do not share an email address.Desired Settlement: I just want the trip in which they confirmed belong to me when I called, but they refuse to give to me because they told it was intended for my daughter. Either way we both contacted them and neither one of us is getting this trip.
