In response to the letter Mr*** submitted.. Mr*** called in recently and stated his service engine light had come on in the vehicle he recently purchasedI agreed to a good will repair and resolve any issuesMr*** set the an appointment for Nov13th.. after receiving this
complaint from Mr*** which is confusing to me and not sure exactly where he was trying to go with his letterDM Motors has gone above the call of duty to satisfy Mr***.Mr***'s prior vehicle was hit by one of his employers company vehiclesInsurance sent DM Motors the check for the damagesI informed Mr*** that if he decided to repair, we would issue the insurance monies we received to the body shop that performed the repairsMr*** then decided to trade vehicle in for a newer lower mileage vehicleI believe Mr*** felt the insurance money should have been paid directly to him..Fast forward to Friday Nov 10thMr*** called in screaming at a co-worker of mine and later called back and was extremely rude with his language to me as wella few minutes later he called again and stated he was going to take his life and hung the phone up.. We called the local police where Mr*** lives and an officer went out to visit Mr*** and found *** to be in a Manic stateOfficer said that he was able to settle *** down and would go back and check in on him an hour later.. Dale ***

I am rejecting this response because:I can't even drive my car I paid $11,for it and the car doesn't even run and Dale the owner of DM Motors stated I had to pay money to get my car fixed they sell junk they need to be put out of business I asked him about a refund I don't want my car and they said we sorry we have no refund policies I want something done I'm not going to pay $11,for a car that does not run especially the book value is only $2,on this car and I had to pay

Ms*** had a verbal payment arrangement to get her account currentThis verbal was for a $on 7/16/Ms*** failed to make this paymentWhen the arrangement was missed she was asked to come into the office and sign a written arrangement because the verbal arrangement had been broken
Ms*** was extremely hostile and went on to call the staff members very inappropriate namesShe would call into the office and harass the finance department staffMs***'s account is a total payments delinquent totaling $We offered to help Ms***, however she refused to find the time to come into the officeWhen a vehicle is sold, we notify customers if they are unable to make payments as scheduled, we require them to come into the officeWe as a company realize that things may arise preventing them from making the payments on time, however Ms***'s behavior was completely unnecessary

I am rejecting this response because:
I called them
over times and they refused to respond and became agitated and spiteful when I told them I was going to get a lawyer because they wouldn’t return my calls when I tried to make a paymentEven after the car was repossessed I called once a month every month starting in November of to try and resolve the issue and they refused to allow me to make a payment or satisfy the loan for the simple fact they were choosing to pry into my personal life along with several individuals with regards to a previous relationship that I was in Even when I came to D and a motors the sales manager which is a female chose to express her dissed tasteful my presence for the simple fact of the woman that I was in a relationship with was choosing to publicly shame meThere are witnesses that can attest to it and I do not care to combat the issue any furtherI will get the telephone records from my cellphone company along with the witnesses if need be

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/06/25) */
On June 17th, 2015, Mrs*** called into the office and asked that we retrieve the vehicle that same day due to the fact her husband, (Mr***) was in a mental hospital and they could no longer afford the vehicle

Ms***'s vehicle was serviced on 5/26/15, no charge to her

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/01/07) */
Ms*** has been offered an appointment on several occasions to bring her vehicle to our service department which is located in ClearwaterShe refuses to do soDM Motors can not provide a resolution when Ms*** refuses to make a service
appointment
As for her account, Ms*** is currently running $past due and days late
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/01/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response from DM Motors IncThey can't sell faulty vehicles and expect for the customer to continue to pay for a vehicle that is not running correctly and or broken down and unable to drive the vehicle(My husband and I've have been great on making payments to DM Motors Inc for the vehicle in question) I've already expressed to DM Motors Inc on numerous occasions that the vehicle will not make it to their Clearwater, MN location and they have refused to get the vehicle into one of their approved shops (R&L) in St Cloud, MN where the vehicle was purchased and where I resideWhat was requested in my original complaint is not an "out of this world" request and they should be able to comply with itThey also did NOT respond to all of the original complaint!!? I would like this to be resolved out of courts; however if I need to seek legal action and contact news stations, etcI WILL!! What DM Motors is doing is NOT okay, and if their not willing to reimburse the moneyMy husband and I for sure want to be released out of the contract and they will have the vehicle back on their lot for resale!!! This is very feasible for them to do!
Thank you!

I am rejecting this response because: I have contacted many other shops after my conversation with Susan T (general manager)  the issues my vehicle was having had nothing to do with replacing a battery, my battery was purchased 12 months prior to the service and was still usable hence nothing to do with the issues my truck was having.  Also Susan T never offered to have truck towed back to Clearwater service shop which is more than 45 miles from my home, I am refusing my vehicle to be serviced at DM motors any further and want a refund for services that were not necessary as my truck was not serviced for the current issues I was having with my vehicle, nor was I contacted prior to service being done for authorization of charges.  I have received confirmation from many service shops that they call the customer to authorize services that are being preformed prior to doing the service.

I am rejecting this response because:It does not make the situation any better. My vehicle was wrongfully repossessed...illegal collection efforts against fdcpa and cfpb were taken by calling with payment demands when payment was...

not even due yet or late, then texting threatening contact of references then on top of that even after payment Made on time repossessing the van. I lost work time, had to give gas money to someone to bring me to work and was disciplined for attendance . I was late to daycare and had to find someone else to help when my older children missed the bus yesterday as I had no transportation. There's s damage on front that was not there prior to repossession. I missed appointments as well that were crucial and difficult in scheduling.

DM Motors serviced Ms. [redacted]'s vehicle on April 5th. After inspection, DM Motors replaced the battery, a clamp and an oil change.  The repairs totaled $286.43. Ms. [redacted] agreed to pay $200.00 when she picked the vehicle up and was going to set up arrangements on the balance. Ms. [redacted] called...

into the office on 4/13/17 indicating her vehicle would not start. She was offered to tow the vehicle to the service dept., however refused. Ms. [redacted] was notified that items not under warranty do not need to be serviced at our shop. Ms. [redacted] insulted an employee and the conversation ended. DM Motors will assist any customer with repairs, however is not liable for repairs that are completed.

Mr. Fale's first payment was due on 10/22/16. The vehicle was repossessed on 11/09/16 due to non-payment.  DM Motors reports what is true and correct to the credit bureaus, Mr. Fale failed to make any payments on his vehicle loan.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/12/22) */
Mr. [redacted] called the office on 12/21/15 very upset and being extremely rude and hostile with our staff. DM Motors explained to Mr. [redacted] that he had an option to use our service dept. for repairs even though is was beyond the warranty. Mr....

[redacted] ended the conversation telling DM Motors to come and pick the vehicle up.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/12/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Since the repairs done with the head gasket problem costed me $800 when in fact it was still under warranty which they should know of since they advertise it so much to help convince a possible customer, it should have only costed the deductable amount which is around $200. Since this dealership tries its hardest to get away with any amount of hard working Americans money they of course did not check to see if it was still under warranty ( in any dealerships service center that would automatically be indicated and credited accordingly to the customer) but not at DM Motors because in my opinion and many others according to their complaints I have read that they are indeed a terrible place to do buisness along with careless customer service. Since the vehicle does not run good at all and is left in poor condition due to failure in proper repair and since DM Motors don't care about that at all and won't credit me the money it costed me to have such repairs done towards a possible future repair or engine replacement I therefore refuse to do further business with them, I have closed the bank account in which they have been taking their payments from to prevent them from taking more of my money. I understand that I am wrongfully backing out of my contract however under these terrible circumstances I believe that it's what's best and the most moral thing that I can do. The car will be at my residence awaiting repo.
