1/19/Our last correspondence with the customer was on December 4, At that time he said that the leak was fixed and that everything had been working fine for several weeksWe honored our warranty obligations and repaired the leak when we were first notified about itThe
customer was made aware of the fact that the drywall would remain open until it was confirmed that there were no more issues with the shower leaking.On December 2, the customer suggested that we come and repair the drywall when we were in the area working on another jobOn December 4, we made the customer aware that we had not started that job yet, and confirmed that we would repair the drywall when we started that jobIn this correspondence we asked if the leak was leaking and the customer said it was not.We were never contacted to be made aware that the shower was leaking againOn January 18, 2014, after we received the letter from the Revdex.com, we attempted to contact the customer via email to discuss the issue and make arrangements evaluate the leak, fix it if necessary, and finish the drywall patch; however the customer's email was bounced back as undeliverableOn Monday January 19, we called the customer and left a message on his voice mailDM Stokes Home Renovations has an exceptional reputation for excellent work, customer relations and integrityHad we been made aware of the fact that the shower was leaking again, we would have addressed it immediatelySince the customer is the one who suggested that we repair the drywall patch when we were in the area working on another job, there did not appear to be urgency on his part,
