I have called and email the consumer with an explanation to the items listed At this point we have not spoken live.At DMB Financial, one of our primary goals is to provide consumers with a reasonable alternative to bankruptcy We regret to see our customers resort to that route We are sorry to hear about this costumers experience, but need to clarify a few points in the complaint attached.First off, we are not a consolidation program While that is only one word, it implies a very different type of program and industry We have a debt settlement program which is very different, and focuses on negotiating settlements on behalf of customers to maximize the savings and value they receive Secondly, we don't "collect" the money, as implied by this consumer The money is drafted into a dedicated trust account in the customers name, and stays there until a settlement is reached The money runs through a third party payment processing company The customer was months into a month program and had already started to see results We believe that the client would have received significant results and savings had she stayed with it Unless she has a number of other debts elsewhere, bankruptcy was not necessary in our opinion She drafted times into her dedicated account, for a total of $ Of those funds, we did negotiate and settle one of her accounts with [redacted] for 50% of what was owed This settlement used $(The balance was $and it was settled for 467.67, and had a settlement fee of $233.83) There were bank fees charged during the program by [redacted] , the processing company, of $ The remaining $is in her account and being sent back to her today as a typical course of doing business when someone cancels We have acted in good faith to help this person and she did receive some value early in the program We wish her the best of luck in the future The consumer is still free to contact us to discuss this in further detail-DMB Financial

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below My initial contact with Mr [redacted] , back in July was prompted by the Law Suit notice from **'s Attorney, his reply to my inquiry was very dismissive, confirming though that the account had not been paid off, upon my insistence, he said he would look into it and call me back , However I never heard back from him. After having received the first and second email from [redacted] , I phoned him once again, I was told that he was not available and that besides he would not be able to do anything in his role as the director. His current emails and phone message once again carry the same dismissive tone, the copy of the forwarded emails, are NOT automated, please read them and review the attachment [redacted] sent with the second one.At present I need documentation as proof that the accounts have all been settled.Thank you Regards, [redacted] ***

Mr [redacted] enrolled in our Tax Prep program on April 6th, (an option service that we make available to our customers) Due to the fact that this is very close to the April 15th deadline, we filed an extension to have the time to complete the tax return for him The IRS has added a Failure to File penalty of $in error, since we did in fact file an extension for this customer Our tax preparer is sending a letter asking that this $penalty be removed, and he is including documentation that shows the extension was filedThis letter is going out today(A copy of the letter is also being issued to the client today) I have attached a copy of this letter to this response After the penalty of $is removed, the client will still need to pay his remaining balance for taxes due of $306.58.We will continue to monitor this issue with IRS for this client and stay in communication with the consumer We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused the client, but as it gets resolved there wont be a monetary impact to it We understand that every dollar helps, and we will continue to work hard to help improve this client's overall financial situation Please call our office if you need any additional information Thank you

Ms ***,Upon reviewing your accounts, we found some discrepancies to what you described in the complaint. It appears that you were upset yesterday when you thought there were still debts remaining on your account, and therefore posted a complaint. We have been attempting
to contact you since yesterday to make you aware that there are no more outstanding debts and no more payments due. Upon enrollment, you signed up for a month program, making a total of bi-monthly payments. This was the good faith estimate we gave you, and we believed that's the amount you would need to resolve all of your debts. You completed the payments recently as scheduled, and DMB Financial has settled and closed all of the debts you enrolled. Your dedicated account has a remaining balance of $3.17, which will be sent back to you in a few business days upon the closure of that account. We believe that a system generated email may have caused confusion and led you to believe there were more debts outstanding, and therefore more payments due. We apologize for the confusion this may have caused. In conclusion, upon review, we see that your program recently finished up as scheduled. We have resolved all of the accounts you enrolled. Please return our call if you have any further questions in regards to this. We would be happy to review further detail with you if needed. Thank you

At DMB, we take pride in putting our customers first, and we take complaints very seriouslyUpon reviewing the account for this consumer, we found a number of discrepancies in the information he has provided below. We called and emailed the consumer, but we were not able to reach him.
We have communicated with his daughter on occasion, who is helping him with this process. First off, the original contract was signed by him at the time of enrollment and the signed copy was sent to him at that time. We have also emailed a copy today, and sent one through physical mail to ensure delivery. Mr *** is months in to a month program. He enrolled debts into the program and has made progress since enrolling. He has accounts that have been negotiated and set up in settlements. One is settled and paid, while the other are in the midst of structured settlements that have been negotiated. All four settlements were set up at 50% or less, and he has already seen savings from the programIn addition, there are a number of other accounts that have made offers, but the funds are not yet there to accept them. There is one account that has gone the legal route as he suggests. However, DMB is still working on negotiating a settlement or payment plan on this account. Our representatives have been in contact with the client's daughter as recently as the past week discussing the options on this account. The account will be resolved in accordance with the enrollment agreement. We would be happy to have further discussion with this consumer and his daughter about his questions and concerns

As promised to *** ***, the 3rd party payment processor has returned all requested funds to *** ***'s personal checking account. Should she have any issues, please have her contact our office at ###-###-####.Thank you,***

Dear Revdex.com, I am responding to the response I received from
DMBI did receive check for the amount of $1,428.68, but I still feel like they owe me more moneyThey still didn't pay me the total amount I paid them which was $1,549.99, so they still owe me $for thatPlus they added $to my loan, that I don’t think I should be responsible forI think it was added as interest and late fees.Regards,
