D.M.E. Systems Consulting, Inc. Reviews (1)
Inappropriate behavior and Customer service from [redacted], the President of DME.
I went in to the DME office to ask what was meant by a yellow light appearing on my oxygen machine. I was told the light meant service was necessary. My machine was then picked up by a DME tech for servicing and was to be returned upon completion of the service. I was given a "Loaner" while I waited for the service on my machine. Later, I was contacted and told I could pick up my machine and when I went to get it I saw that the machine they were trying to give me was not mine. I explained that this machine had no light indicator and was at least 6 to 8 inches taller. I wasn't very concerned about it being a different machine; I simply wanted to be sure that it would provide equal benefit. I was then taken to the warehouse where I was able to point out the exact model of "My" machine and the President, [redacted], told me that wasn't the one they had written on the paperwork as being mine. I explained that regardless of what was on the paperwork I knew what my machine looked like and the one in the warehouse appeared to be the same model. He let me take it home, but when I got it home and turned it on it gave off a tremendous odor like that of a smoked in-cheap motel, which caused my wife to awake the following morning with a sore throat and nasal problems. My wife called to explain the problem and was told that I refused to pick up "My" machine and that I insisted upon taking that one (The cheap motel one). I brought the "Cheap motel" machine back to DME and asked if they had found my real machine and that's when [redacted] became irate...He began yelling at me to just leave the store stating; "he wanted nothing more to do with me." I tried to explain that I simply wanted my machine and he grew even louder as he told me that he tried to give me my machine but I wouldn't take it. The argument continued outside where he was literally yelling so loud that people a block away could have heard him. He was red in the face and extremely agitated...In realizing that he was not listening, just yelling, I tried to calm my voice and explain as rationally as I could, but nothing worked, he just kept yelling and telling me to just leave, which I did.
My concern is that regardless of which of us was right, (Obviously we both considered ourselves to be in the right) the way [redacted] acted was not only unprofessional, but extremely hostile. Apparently DME is ok to work with unless you need to work out any sort of issue, then you had better be ready for a fight. I strongly recommend that no one does business with this company.
