DNA Footwear Reviews (3)

've never written a negative review but if any place deserves oneI came here to buy a new pair of winter boots, had settled on a good (and expensive) pair from checking them out online, some Wolverine mile bootsBought them at the SoHo locationShopping experience is fineI start lacing them up the next morning and a rivet pops off the top of the boot as I pull the laces tightSo, I go back the next week to return them and get a full refund, because that's normally what companies that sell defective products do for their customersI get told right away that they only offer store credit or an exchange for a new pairI explain that I had based this expensive purchase off believing that the boots were both durable and high-quality, which they are clearly not, and that I was instead going to buy a pair of boots that DNA Footwear doesn't carrySounds reasonable, right?
Instead, I'm told multiple times by the manager that it was my fault that I had purchased this pair of shoes, and to read the reviews online about them being high quality productsI ask him to call the general manager of the NY stores -- same answerApparently, DNA Footwear absolves itself of all responsibility for what it sells once they get the cash out of your pocketsThis is a dirty and dishonest companyDon't shop here

Review: Im a customer on your website and several days ago, I ordered one pair of Men's [redacted] Running course Sneaker - Black, Size 8.5 (Order NO. [redacted]). But when I receive it, I find its a so bad Christmas gift because one shoes surface has clear dirty marks, and the others surface has wear marks, so I think it cannot be worn. Im so disappointed with this items quality problem, and as one foreign customer, I cant return to you with expensive international freight. Now I have to file a claim to you and request a full refund in the amount of $75.94 to me. I wish you will process my request as soon as possible and give me a quick reply. Thank you so much for your kind understanding and help!Desired Settlement: I have to file a claim to you and request a full refund in the amount of $75.94 to me. I wish you will process my request as soon as possible and give me a quick reply.

Review: The company offered 25% off any product. I made the decision to purchase a pair of Mens Ugg brand hannen boot size 12.

Six days later, I still did not receive any info about the order. I call them and was advised that they sent an email, which they didnt that it was cancelled.

I then asked why,and was told that the 25% coupon was not valid.

If it was not valid, then WHY DID IT GO THROUGH ON THEIR WEBSITE AND THE PRICE REFLECTED THE ADJUSTMENT???

TOTALLY FALSE ADVERTISING, I ALSO BELIEVE THIS COMPANY MAY BE INVOLVED IN A CREDIT CARD PHISHING SCAM,. THEY HAVE MY CARD # ALL THE INFO. I HAVE TO CALL THE CREDIT COMPANY AND CHANGE MY ACCOUNT # NOW DUE TO THE POSSIBLE FRAUD THAT WILL TAKE PLACE.Desired Settlement: THEY SHOULD BE FINED OR PENALIZED TO PUNISH THEM FOR NOT FULFILLING THEIR OFFER AND HONOR THE COUPON AND SEND ME MY BOOTS FOR THE PRICE I AGREED UPON.

Dear [redacted],

We would like to be in touch with you regarding the complaint made to the Revdex.com. We have received and investigated your complaint.

First and foremost, we would like to apologize for the situation that occurred on November [redacted], during the night. On November 19th, multiple websites started to falsely advertise our UGG Australia products, at 20% off. In your case, the promo code used, “[redacted]” was intended to give an “EXTRA 20% OFF on all Sale Items”. Please see attached proof 1.1.

We are also sorry to hear that you haven’t received our email sent to you on November [redacted], at 12pm – please see proof 1.2. We reacted to this situation within 15h following your transaction. The email sent is also stated below:

Dear valued customer, We are experiencing a very serious situation on the Internet at the moment. Multiple websites are falsely advertising our UGG Australia products, at 20% off. We regret to tell you that none of our UGG Australia full price products are included in any promotions, per policy. Furthermore, [redacted] was intended to give “an EXTRA 20% off on all Sale Items.” As an Authorized UGG Australia dealer, we are mandated to abide by certain policies and this false advertisement requires us to enforce the non-sale of full price UGG products. Unfortunately, our system is and will be rejecting all orders with this promo code being used on full-price products. We understand your frustration and we are here if you need us. For any questions, comments, or if you would like to keep you order and process it at full price, please email us your name and order number at: [email protected].

In addition of this first email, a second email was sent on November 27th with more information about the situation – please see attached proof 1.3.

About the credit card phishing issue you are stating in your complaint, we would like to clarify the situation. This is a really serious accusation and we do not take it lightly as the customer is our highest priority. We understand your frustration and again we apologize for a situation that was out of our reach, solely because of our relationship with UGG Australia. We are a shoe retailer that has been present over 8 years, with six retail stores in Brooklyn. We also strive to do business with the highest possible regard for ethics in dealing with customers and businesses. Again, the reason why this went viral is because UGG Australia is keeping all retailers from selling their products at discounted price, making it almost impossible to find UGG Australia products included in promotions if the retailer is, in fact, authorized by UGG Australia. As an Authorized UGG Australia dealer, we are unable to honor your purchase of the UGG Australia Men Hannen boot, at 20% off.

In summary, DNA Footwear has never, at any time, falsely advertised our “[redacted]” promo code to include UGG Australia products. We did, and do, advertise the UGG Australia restriction to the coupon on our website even if it was not included in the unauthorized third party’s false advertisement. We acknowledge that from a customer point of view, it seems like the order came through at check out. However, our e-commerce platform accepts almost all orders with a valid credit card and will hold the funds until the order is moved to shipping status where the funds will then be captured. For proof of this, if you verify with your bank you will realize that your credit card has never been charged in your statement and you may only see a pending charge from this order. If for any reason this pending charge has not been released yet, please contact us so we can investigate as to why it hasn’t.We sincerely apologize for any confusion that has risen out of your transaction with us.

Once more, we would like to apologize for your experience and we would like to clarify that DNA Footwear will never take part of any fraudulent or misleading activities to attract customers.

Best regards,
