DNA Roofing Reviews (19)

I am extremely happy with the work performed by the company the contractors were professional and there workmanship is impeccable. They work done was excellent and they were honest. The first estimate I got from another outfit was three times the price.DNA Roofing stands behind there work and puts importance of the customers satisfaction at the top of the priority list. They did an excellent job and I wholeheartedly recommend this company for the protection of your home and your bank account.

I was directed to DNA Roofing by a coworker who gave them high praise for work they did on his house. I had already received several quotes and DNA came in a little higher. They were happy to match the lower quote and I believe they did more work than the other group would of. They replaced multiple fascias around the roof and they came out better than the original. I don't know how their roofer can make such perfect miter cuts but I guess there is something to be said for experience. They also didn't cut corners by bonding two pieces of wood together to make a longer fascia. Every one they worked on was one solid piece of high grade lumber and came out looking awesome. We had a miscommunication about replacing one of the fascias but when I brought it up to them they did the extra work and didn't charge me an extra dime. I would highly recommend using these roofers, you will be dealing with the owners [redacted] and [redacted].

DNA Roofing just replaced our clay tile roof with concrete tile. It is a large roof and they completed it on schedule in 5 days. The workers cleaned all debris very day. [redacted] and [redacted] DNA owners were up[ on the roof making sure everything was done properly. we are more than opleased and highly recommend DNA [redacted] and [redacted] Scottsdale

It doesn't get any better then this. In aw from start to finish. It almost makes me wish I had another house so I could see them do it again.

WOW! these guys were Great! they came as soon as I called for an estimate. Quoted me a price and stuck to it, a very reasonable price I my add, and they went above and beyond to make everything on my roof match. which was unexpected for me because no ones else's roof in my neighborhood matches. they showed up on time and stayed until the job was done. in a 110 degrees temperature. I highly recommend them.

Great Job Guy's!

I can highly recommend DNA Roofing because they did everything they said they would do and more. They even filled in the side of my roof where my a/c used to be which the other 2 roofing companies I'd interviewed for the job never even suggested doing at all and DNA did it at no extra charge. They also replaced all my 1"x2"s instead of just some of the more badly damaged ones, again at no extra charge. They didn't try to sell me the cheaper weight of felt that one roofing company did. DNA Roofing is thorough, professional, fairly priced, and they followed through on everything I asked about. My roof looks so beautiful and I'm completely happy with the job they did. It was actually a pleasure to pay them!

I was referred to DNA roofing to get an estimated on some work that needed to be done on a house we own in Phoenix. They met me at the property, told me what needed to be done and gave me an estimate on the spot. We agreed on the work and scheduled it to be done a couple of days later. They were there on schedule, made the repairs, and took pictures to document the work that they did. Because they were so professional, I asked them to give me an estimate to repair some roof leaks at a commercial property we own. I already had several estimates for that job and their estimate was at 20%-30% less than the lowest estimate I already had. I scheduled them to do that work also. It was a three day job and it was started and finished right on schedule. The repaired roof looks like new, and based on watching them do the work, I'm positive it will solve my leaky roof problem. I will definitely use them again.

Work was done professionally and finished in a timely manner. Services were above what was quoted and no extra charges were added.

I had a new roof put on my mobile home on 4/11/16 by DNA roofing. I had received an estimate for the service two weeks prior. They gave me a great deal even giving me a discount for being a veteran. The roofers showed up when they stated they would and continued work until the job was done that day. My new roof is beautiful and they even painted the vents and piping to match the roof. I am very happy with the price and quality of work and materials! Overall a great experience.

I can't say enough good about our experience with DNA roofing. They were Very professional, prompt, efficient, and our roof looks wonderful. From my first phone call to schedule an estimate, to the finally clean up, I was kept updated on the progress with complete accuracy. I would highly recommend them with confidence that you won't be sorry.

These guys did an outstanding job for us, beginning with the initial estimate/quote all the way through to the final cleanup. [redacted] and [redacted] were as good as I could possibly ask for in every way including explanation of everything they would complete, always on time, dependable, extremely high quality work at a competetive price. Couldn't be more pleased! They did all that work at the end of June in 115 degree heat and never a complaint. Just outstanding work!

DNA REPLACED MY ROOF IN TWO DAYS, (8/10 and 8/11/2015) COMPLETE. THE TORCH DOWN ARIZONA ROOM AREA IS A MASTERPIECE. EVERY PIECE OF METAL WAS IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION, INCLUDING ALL PEAK CUTS. THEIR WORKMANSHIP WAS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND THEIR CLEANUP WAS FANTASTIC. I WOULD RECOMMEND DNA ROOFING FOR ALL TYPES OF ROOFS AND KNOW ANYONE THAT WERE TO USE DNA WOULD BE AS SATISFIED AS I AM.

I would highly recommend DNA roofing. From the moment I met [redacted] and[redacted], the professionalism and attention to detail was very clear. They took the time to explain everything they were going to do, materials they were going to use and kept me in the loop and updated every step of the way. They were both very hands on with their extremely hard working, polite and professional crew. The finished product, a total new roof, was absolutely beautiful, clearly a great deal of pride in what they do. I couldn't be happier.

I am an elderly single lady who was looking for a roofer that practices responsible work ethics and quality standards. I needed to re-roof the gazebo located in my back yard. It is an open structure with the underside of the roof visible when you are underneath so I want it to look nice.

I contracted with DNA Roofing to complete this project.

When the foreman started replacing the 2X6 fascia he used a reciprocating saw to shave the existing trusses at the corners so the new fascia would fit.

He spent approximately four hours working on the fit of the first two birdstops between the trusses. After that he started numbering the existing ones as they were removed and used them as a guide. This speeded up the progress but the quality and fitting suffered.

It seems that the amount of plywood needed to finish the job was miscalculated. First ten additional sheets were needed. When I asked the managers to replace two sheets that had a great deal of defects in them the foreman said that he would need three more sheets of plywood to finish the job. They said that the plywood was special order and didn’t think that they could get it in time. After some conversation they said that they would do what the they could and left. They returned with four new sheets of plywood and I picked the two that I wanted to use. The foreman cut some strips from one of the rejected sheets to finish the top. While installing batten strips on the South Side approximately thirty staples blasted through the plywood. It is a shame that I spent extra money for nice material only to have their foreman damage it.

Twice they came up short on underlayment and had to go get more. The underlayment on the North side was installed without sweeping or blowing the debris first. The foreman was using palm sized pieces to cover the North West Hip ridge. I asked him to use the larger pieces that were just lying on the ground. While he was installing the underlayment on the South side he needed one more roll to finish. While they were going to get that new roll he used several short pieces patched together. Five minutes after he finished they returned with the new roll and only a few feet were used from it. He was is such a hurry that he didn’t have the patience to wait the five minutes it took them to return with a new roll.

After they had been working on the job for several days one of the managers told me to leave their workers alone and let them do their job. The following day I asked that manager to pass something on to his foreman as I was not supposed to talk to the workers. The manager said that he didn’t mean that I couldn’t talk to the workers. How else would one interpret “leave their workers alone and let them do their job”?

I asked them to fasten down some of the batten strips on the South side because they were loose. The manager went up on the roof and took pictures of the 1000 square feet with a small smart phone and showed them to me claiming they were all fastened down. I called DNA the night before the last day of work and asked one of the managers to be present before their workers started work the next day. The workers showed up and the manager was not here. I called him to see if he was on his way. He said that he was about fifteen minutes away and he would call the crew and tell them not to start until he got there. The crew started to load tile on the roof anyway so I asked them to wait for the manager. When the manager arrived I again asked them to fasten down the loose batten strips on the South side. At first they didn’t want to but after talking about it they finally did. I asked the manager to replace the South East Hip ridge board that the foreman damaged with the tile saw when he cut the corner tiles. He refused to replace the board.

At the start of the job I was told that they would need enough new tile to cover one hip. Soon this changed and they would need enough new tile to cover both hips. In the end they needed enough new tile for the entire South side. They didn’t have sufficient new tile on site and they couldn’t get more until Monday delaying the completion of the job.

At one point I had to tell the workers to stop working late in the day because it was well after dark. The foreman was very upset because I wouldn’t let him continue working. When I discussed this with DNA the next day the manager said that “the foreman had been laying tile for so long that he could do it in his sleep”. Would you want someone doing work on your home when it was too dark for them to see?

This project took 7 days to complete. Every day they ran short of materials and/or supplies and had to make multiple trips to the supplier to get them.

There was a crew of three hard workers but only one of the workers was conscientious.

I was visiting my brother who resides in Sun City West Arizona and noticed a leak in the roof. I went on Angie's List and found [redacted] who then referred DNA Roofing who contacted us immediately for an appointment. [redacted] (owner) and [redacted] came out to fix the leak. They were prompt and very courteous. They did an excellent job fixing the problem. The price was on point and they made us feel confident that we choose the right company. I highly recommend DNA Roofing.

[redacted] and [redacted] walked us through every step of the way when a tree fell on our roof during a summer storm. They not only did an amazing job on the repairs and roofing, but also helped navigate the insurance claim process. What a relief it was to have a new and better roof completed within just a few days of the the initial contact.

[redacted],[redacted] and their team helped us after we had roof and other damage to our house and property after a storm. We couldn't have been happier with their commitment and competency helping us secure additional contractors needed to get all the damage back to normal . They were patient and helpful with the insurance process needed for payment. We couldn't have asked for a better company to take care of us.

My husband and I were referred to DNA Roofing thru a neighbor. We had a section on our tile roof that was leaking in an area we had repaired by a different roofer just a couple years before. I called DNA roofing on a Saturday afternoon. They called back within 5 minutes. Even more impressive, they were at my front door within 20 minutes. WOW! They immediately went up and took a look at our roof and determined we had a few broken tiles that needed replacing. By Sunday afternoon they were back to complete the job. They replaced the tiles that were broken and also brought down the pieces that the prior company should have replaced, but showed me where they were instead glued back together!!! I was speechless!

Needless to say we are so appreciative of the quality job that DNA did on our repair and are more than impressed with the speed in which the job was done.

If you are wanting to hire a company that is honest, does quality work, and fairly priced....call DNA Roofing!!

In my experience, it is a rare thing to discover a buisiness that allows you to deal with knowledgable, patient, talented, thoughtful, professional individuals....especially in this industry. We gathered estimates from 3 companies but DNA Roofing was the ONLY company that brought me outside to explain exactly what would need to be done -- even taking pictures for me when I was too scared to climb up on the roof! My husband wasn't home at the time but that was a small matter as [redacted] and [redacted] were patient enough to explain things in terms I could understand. There was no pressure as they encouraged me to gather additional estimates (no doubt, confindent that their prices were more than fair). Obviously, we ultimately hired DNA Roofing and we are THRILLED that we did. The entire crew was professional, respectful, and EXTREMELY hard working despite the 100+ temps. Their work is positively perfect and I'm not kidding when I tell you my yard was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. Everything this company claimed was true from the times they would arrive (on the dot!) to the final cost they estimated (to the penny!). DNA Roofing is a refreshing example of an honest, professional, dedicated team who clearly takes pride in their work.
