We are sorry to hear that *** *** has decided that he did not like the advertising services provided to him, however, we have detailed contracts signed by him as well as email exchanges that
explicitly outline the marketing products he was sold
We also have reports from a third-party provider showing that we delivered exponentially more ads than were promised to him
In each of the two contracts signed by *** ***, which, again, detail exactly what he would be getting, there is also an accompanying email from him saying, "looks good."
As we have more than delivered on what was promised and agreed to by the client, no refund will be made

Dear *** ***,
Again, I am happy to provide you with the contracts you signed specifying exactly what was delivered to youOur sales reps explained everything in full to you, and this is evident in both the signed contracts and email communications we haveThe fact that you signed with us for a second campaign is further proof of your satisfaction with the results of the campaignWe wish you luck

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
I signed a contract in which I purchased rotating ad space in the daily DNAinfo email neighborhood newsletter. The contract calls for 100,000 “neighborhood ad impressions” in that email newsletter in three neighborhoods: upper east side, west side, and midtown. The ads were supposed to rotate on the upper right had side of the newsletter in those three
neighborhoods. After ten months of my complaining that I never saw my ads, they now admit that my ads never ran in the contracted space. They claim my ads rotated elsewhere on their website which they do not, or cannot prove—not that it would matter. I did not get what I paid for. Period. Because of their refusal to take responsibility for their salesman’s misrepresentations, I can only conclude that DNAinfo condones deceptive sales practices.

Review: I am a published author. I purchased a ten-month long email, advertising campaign from DNAinfo.com beginning on 5/**/2013 with the intention of bringing attention to my latest novel. I paid $3,750.00. The rotating ad was 300 by 600 that was supposed to appear on the upper right side of their daily email newsletter. The sales rep who sold me on the campaign was [redacted] threw in some nice perks: three additional ad sizes (300x600, 300x250, and 728x90) that would run on their website, newsletter ads, and sponsored posts. A pretty good deal. No? I asked [redacted] to supply me with an ad schedule so I'd know when my ad was running. [redacted] said that, since the ads rotate, supplying me with a schedule was impossible. In the end I never saw my ad, not even once, in ten-months. When I complained they offered weekly stats as proof that my ad was indeed runningif you believe their stats. Which I now do not.Fact is that my ad did not run in the space I'd purchased. I complained to their sales director [redacted] who had [redacted], an [redacted] contact me. [redacted] has informed me that I did not purchase the email ad campaign that I purchased. She apologized for the misunderstanding and stated that: -you were given three ad sizes (300x600, 300x250, and 728x90). This is where your ad impressions were given and where they rotate with other advertisers. You were promised roughly 1 newsletter (ad in email) per month and according to your final report you were delivered 60 TOTAL newsletters in the 6 months which hardly ever happens to any other advertiser. Its like I ordered an 8-oz steak, was served a 16-oz hamburger and told I should be grateful about it.Even if I were to believe [redacted], and her stats, I did not get what I paid for. I had no interest in their add values. As a result I'd like DNAinfo.com to provide me with a complete refund.Desired Settlement: Complete refund.

Response:

We are sorry to hear that [redacted] has decided that he did not like the advertising services provided to him, however, we have detailed contracts signed by him as well as email exchanges that explicitly outline the marketing products he was sold.

We also have reports from a third-party provider showing that we delivered exponentially more ads than were promised to him.

In each of the two contracts signed by [redacted], which, again, detail exactly what he would be getting, there is also an accompanying email from him saying, "looks good."

As we have more than delivered on what was promised and agreed to by the client, no refund will be made.
