Dear ** ***; On Friday, December 30th we had called and talked to the guest in the above complaintThis person was upset because they had not received the room type that they had anticipatedWhen making their reservation they choose a certain room'type and paid their
deposit for that type, Four days prior to their arrival we had called the guest to inform them that the particular room type was not availableWe were undergoing room renovations and the particular type that they requested was not going to be availableThe above guest called back and was able to choose a different room type, which was of a lesser valueThe guest did receive a credit for the difference between the two roomsAfter talking with the guest and knowing how upset the guest was because they did not receive the particular room request, it was determined to credit the guest's credit card on file for the full amount of the room reservationThe guest was delighted and accepted our apologies and gestor to make the situation right
After talking with the guest and resolving the issue/complaint we then received the notice from your office of the guest complaintI believe we have resolved this issue and the guest is satisfied
