DNS Services Reviews (2)

HelloWe received your correspondence dated Sep20, related to *** *** *** and Mr*** from Mission Viejo, CA.Our records reflect that we received a check from “*** *** ***” located @ *** *** **, Mission Viejo, CA on 10/13/for one year renewal for DNS secondary backup
service The account #*** for “*** *** ***” is valid through 10/31/ During that period, DNS Services has provided DNS (Domain Name Service) redundancy and backup services for the primary domain, “***”Mr*** and *** *** *** receive an annual renewal notice by mail to continue DNS back up servicesAccording to our standard policies, if the account is not renewed by the expiration date, our service will terminate Our customer service records do not show that we received any phone calls, emails or faxes previously from this account regarding this complaintWe will, however, deem this notice to your office as a request to terminate services.DNS Services stands by its DNS secondary backup services and strives to have satisfied customers Mr*** and *** *** *** did not contact us directly or provide a way to resolve the complaint Because customer service is so important to us and we do not want to have a customer that feels that they did not receive the services they purchased, we will issue a refund check back to them immediatelyIn addition, we will, deem his notice to your office as a request to terminate services upon the account expiration date and we will not send *** *** *** any future renewal invoices.Your efforts to mediate this matter are appreciatedIf there are any further steps that need to be taken please contact me immediately, otherwise we will consider this matter resolved.Sincerely,Glenn L***

DNS Services sends out an invoice that looks very legit, and uses information found by doing a whois search on any domains you own, but has (most of the time) very fine print that states that it is not an invoice but a solicitation. Once you pay the fee you no longer get that disclaimer and have signed up for their "service".
Basically it's a fake DNS backup service. Complete fraud/scam.
