We hired Do It All Handyman Service in Sept for sheetrock repair and paintingIt was a large, expensive jobIn our opinion they did a poor, sloppy jobThey did not clean up after themselves well nor did they display the attention to detail we would've expected from professionalsPaint was over-sprayed on windows and light fixtures and did not sufficiently cover all the correct surfacesSheetrock mud and texture was splattered on windows and molding and then left, or painted overThe sheetrock repair was poor in that they did not adequately cover the outside corners they installedPaint was left open overnightThey returned and corrected most of the mistakes, but we felt the job was unsatisfactory for the amount charged

We started this job back in October as the customer stated but after we finished doing the majority of the contract the customer started wanting us to do extra work that was not on the contract including painting exterior doors and repairing columns that was not on the contract. The window...

was a special order and was not in  at the time of completion. I will send them a check to cover the window that was prepaid. As far as the dining room, there was a water leak from the roof that was fixed and the customer was told that we could repair the wall and wood floor but due to the stain that was on the wood without sanded down the whole floor we could only bleach the spot and patch in that area and the stain  may still be visible. They did not want the expense of sanding the whole floor. Unfortunately every time they wanted us to come it was in the coldest time of winter. We have tried to satisfy them but they are insisting on work to be done that was not contracted and refuse to pay for any extra work. The contract was satisfied except for the window and all they have paid is for the special ordered window.

We have tried to work with this customer and have no success as they are wanting a full refund. The columns on the back porch were fixed as well as they could be  as the columns had twisted over time because of not being secured properly. We alerted customer when we removed the damaged wood and seen that they were twisted we told them and they did not want to do any further repairs so we replaced with new wood and caulked and painted. The back doors were not on the contract and neither were the front columns, we were told after the job was completed and paid for. The windows were a special order and when they came in did not match and the customer refused them, as I said I can refund them that money which is $150.00.  The lattice was broke in places before we started and they did not want to replace it so we painted. The upstairs deck rail and some trim does need another coat of paint but it is subject to weather conditions and it will not be brand new. We contracted to paint 2 coats, 1 primer & 1 paint, after we left the paint was soaked up into wood that was dry and cracking. We completed the job that we contracted for and the customer was fine with the job whn we left. They contacted us 4 months after to complain.
