I did exactly what I told Mr*** I would doThe first portion of the estimate was a fixed bid and the second portion of the estimate was time and materialThe fixed portion was billed as that and the second portion was broke down in time (hours) and materialsWhen the billed was not payed
I hired a lawyer to take care of it and have been paid in full on 7-5-2017. Thank You Scott J***Do It Right Inc.

I have attached the estimate, the bill and an excel sheet I created identifying the overcharge

I am rejecting this response because:MrJ***'s "fixed price" contract was his third iteration excuse trying to get me to accept the over chargeHis first excuse was that he had company overhead, as if I was to expect an item on the BOM labled company overhead for $1,His word is simply not trustworthySecondly, I did not receive the request for payment until June 16, and I never refused to payI asked for an itemized invoice and BOMNine days later his attorney was threatening meLastly, It is unacceptable that I, or any other customer of MrJ***'s, is not given a BOM and other documentation itemizing the work, so as to know what was done and where all materials are installedIt is unacceptable that I have to crawl under the house and in my attic to look for the work that was doneI should know exactly what materials were used and where they are installedThis should not be a guessing gameBy not providing the appropriate documentation, and continued falsehoods, and half truths from MrJ***, indicates MrJ*** is hiding something When I requested an itemized estimate, prior to work being done, MrJ*** stated this was only an estimate, and the final bill could be more or less, depending on what his crew foundThis negates his "fixed price" argument

I am sorry Mr*** does not understand the diffeance between a fixed bid and a time and material bidAs you can see there are two line items on the purposal and we did exactly what we stated.? ? Thank YouScott J***

Please provide a copy of the receipt(s) regarding the transaction.  Once we have the necessary information we will then be able to forward it off to the host processor and request a refund.

Lastly, It is unacceptable that I, or any other customer of Mr. J[redacted]'s, is not given a BOM and other documentation itemizing the work, so as to know what was done and where all materials are installed. It is unacceptable that I have to crawl under the house and in my attic to look for the work that was done. I should know exactly what materials were used and where they are installed. This should not be a guessing game. The amount has been refunded.  After looking onto the matter it was determined that the location unknowingly benefited from the failed transaction.  We will work with the merchant settle on our own given the timeline.
