Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:MrJ [redacted] 's "fixed price" contract was his third iteration excuse trying to get me to accept the over chargeHis first excuse was that he had company overhead, as if I was to expect an item on the BOM labled company overhead for $1,His word is simply not trustworthySecondly, I did not receive the request for payment until June 16, and I never refused to payI asked for an itemized invoice and BOMNine days later his attorney was threatening meLastly, It is unacceptable that I, or any other customer of MrJ [redacted] 's, is not given a BOM and other documentation itemizing the work, so as to know what was done and where all materials are installedIt is unacceptable that I have to crawl under the house and in my attic to look for the work that was doneI should know exactly what materials were used and where they are installedThis should not be a guessing gameBy not providing the appropriate documentation, and continued falsehoods, and half truths from MrJ [redacted] , indicates MrJ [redacted] is hiding something When I requested an itemized estimate, prior to work being done, MrJ [redacted] stated this was only an estimate, and the final bill could be more or less, depending on what his crew foundThis negates his "fixed price" argument Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

I did exactly what I told Mr [redacted] I would doThe first portion of the estimate was a fixed bid and the second portion of the estimate was time and materialThe fixed portion was billed as that and the second portion was broke down in time (hours) and materialsWhen the billed was not payed I hired a lawyer to take care of it and have been paid in full on 7-5-Thank You Scott J [redacted] Do It Right Inc

I purchased a new awning from Awning Industries in October The owner, Mark Zazubec, helped me with the purchaseMy contract included a free winter cover with a bug deflector, all labor, installation and all warranties I waited a long time for the installation of the awning and kept having to call Mark and leave messages In the fall, I tried to call Mark so he could install my winter cover, as he told me he would as well as removing the cover in the spring I called and left quite a few messages, but never received an answer or any serviceMark seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth Even drove over to the address of the company (no-one there) and to his home address, (no-one knew where he was.) I had to have someone help me make a make-shift winter cover and put it on

Did a great job on our Awning project Payed attention to detail as our desires were a bit of a challenge to most all other companies who didn’t have the confidence it could be doneI recommend this company
