Do It Rite Remodeling & Landscaping Reviews (3)

Hired Do It Rite to perform a quick make over of my home Tile, paint, drywall repair and concrete patio I was very pleased with the job and it came in on time and under budget MrJ*** was always on time and sat down with me at the end of each day to give job status I would recommend this company for all your needs

The company came out through my home warrenty program they spent over two hrs at the homeThey were not prepared having to run to the store several timesThey left a can of spackle telling me once it dried I need to spray on sand then paint, knowing this was part of finishing the job I called and had them return to finish thier work after trying to call for over a weekOnce back it was a diff crew that spent about a hr and told me once done it needs to be sanded and it's doneAgain I explained it wasn't my job and they needed to call the boss and set up a time to come back, I set up a dispute with my home warrenty since the job wasn't completed and the owner was very rudeNeedles to say I argued with the owner several minutes before hanging up and having someone else finish the job I would not recommend this company they do less then good work and are very rude

+1

ID #[redacted] Response to complaint...

... In response to the complaint filed against my business, Do It Rite Remodeling and Landscaping, LLC by [redacted] on 1/21/2016.  Ms. [redacted]’s statements in the complaint are false and unfounded.  Upon our initial discussion and walkthrough regarding repairs and upgrades to her home, I informed Ms. [redacted] that I was licensed, bonded and insured; this was verified through [redacted] a mutual friend.  Ms. [redacted] did not request to see proof or view these items.  Ms. [redacted] acknowledged and was aware a permit was needed to perform plumbing repairs.  [redacted] mentioned in the original meeting that a permit would be required to perform these repairs.  I agreed with [redacted]   Customer sent a picture and I did notice the door is not level at the top, but customer has not permitted me to re-enter her home to make proper adjustments.  The standard gap for a shower is 3/8 inch between side panel and door panel.  Gap Vinyl is not required to maintain shower; Gap Vinyl is primarily used to keep water from seeping out; which is not the case and/or cosmetic purposes.  I believe this is the purpose the customer is requesting the gap be closed. I can install Gap Vinyl if this is what the customer requests. As for the grout used to fill in space above shower; the grout was purchased by the customer. Upon contacting the City of Phoenix, regarding obtaining permits I was informed that I am required to draw a diagram and Ms. [redacted]; the responsible party must pay permit fees.  As stated in the original contract it is the customer’s responsibility to provide materials and accessories (permits); this includes permits; Do It Rite is and will be responsible for labor only.
