Your response seems to imply that I am not submitting my resume as many times as humanly possible during each day. For a position above entry level you typically run into some kind of questionnaire in addition to having to fill out the details of your resume, customize your cover letter etc. Being "good at it" is irrelevantI am actually an expert at it but it still takes time. But the real problem is that I am not happy at all with the resume you provided. It has done me no good - gotten me nowhere - not even a phone call. If you are a good, reputable business then you would take care of the customers whether they are happy or not. If your claims are true - 98.2% customer satisfaction - then that's great, I happen to be the other 1.8% and I am kindly asking for a refund. I even sent your resume through a critique and it was picked apart - what's really bad is the misspelled word "underperforming". No one will take a second look at a resume with a misspelling. How do you explain a misspelling when you claim to be a professional resume writing service? Plus falsifying your Revdex.com rating on your webpage with a link that only goes back to your site. Are you aware of this issue?I would appreciate it if you would please refund the total amount paid. You are not what you claim to be on your website - the decision I made to use Do My Resume was based upon the A+ rating and the guarantee. If you issue a refund this will end peacefully. Review: I hired [redacted], owner of "Do My Resume.net" to do my resume. I spoke to [redacted] and he assured me he would personally do my resume. I hired him and paid for his services based on that assurance. I completed the questionnaire in detail, gave access to my Linked In account & a copy of a partially written resume. In return I received an incomplete/poorly written resume in an un-professional looking format and an apology that he could not do the resume himself, he gave it to someone else "that he claimed was just as good as he was". I was told to "not stress out" and to "revise" the work they had done to complete my resume. I realized they were not able to write an executive resume and requested a refund for the cover letter and half the cost of the resume. I was told that no refund would be made for the resume and should I contest the charge on my credit card I would be sued, [redacted] went on to tell me exactly how he was going to sue me. An intimidating business practice. I was threatened with a collection account and law suit for [redacted] not keeping HIS promise and FOR HIM not doing quality work. In review of the invoice sent to me AFTER I had paid for the resume, I discovered that I was charged 14% sales tax....[redacted] sales tax is around 7%. I brought this to [redacted] and [redacted] attention. [redacted] did not care and [redacted] said "We can charge the fees we want and there are no laws that was are breaking." (This is a direct quote, not a mistake in grammar) After multiple emails and time wasted on my part, [redacted] refunded the Cover Letter charge but refused to refund any of the UNDISCLOSED/overcharged tax or resume charge.Desired Settlement: refund undisclosed and overcharged sales tax and half the cost of the resume.

[redacted] (customer) paid for a resume and cover letter. After customer received services, he decided to dispute the charge through [redacted] in order to get away with fraud. After a [redacted] dispute claim was made, [redacted] reviewed the dispute in its entirety and found that Do My Resume provided full service as promised to [redacted] (customer). All matters have been resolved, a third party ([redacted]) has already reviewed this dispute and found in favor of Do My Resume.

So I had all of my portfolios ruined,with my resume's in it .I had an important business meeting to go to.So I had found this company that said they did resume's.I was like cool deal.So how long would it take you guys to prepare my resume's? Do My Resume is a great resource for re-vamping your resume. I was extremely aggravated trying to type up and format my resume in a way that would be presentable to a potential employer without too much or too little design/information. I used them on my last job, and after being out of work for so long, they really helped me establish my career goals and organize my work history on a professional level. I admire the one-on-one professional service this company offers and the time to craft an effective resume that gets results. Being in the entertainment industry from retail leanings, I needed to stand out. And at 53 I wanted an edge. I got it from Do My Resume and am impressed. I got two work offers and hope to get more.

I entered into a subcontract relationship with this resume-writing business. The terms of this subcontract were that I would provide resume-writing services for the company's clients and that four to five resumes would be sent to me per week. No aspect of this contract indicated that I was required to write a resume in accordance with the company's subjective preferences, which the company shared with me only after it got copies of my resume and cover letter. Please note that this company reviewed sample resumes from me, one of which shared some similarities in its format--though not strikingly similar. The company was satisfied with both of them.

The company sent me a first project to write a cover letter and resume for a newly acquired client. After spending several hours checking in with the company's client for clarification on threadbare information that was originally sent to me with the expectation to write a high-quality resume. I wrote the resume within two days, which was well within the deadline set by the company, which was six days. The resume and cover letter passed plagiarism and syntax tests. The resume was written with an IT professional in mind who had been out of work for more than one year due to personal issues.

The company's agent, [redacted], indicated to me AFTER I provided the product to him that he would not be willing to pay me for my services. He accused me of "misrepresenting" my skills and not capable of writing a "high quality" [sic] resume the way that his other resume writers. He did not provide an opportunity for constructive feedback or for me to revise the resume. He simply indicated that he would not pay me for my services.

I should note that I have written resumes for more than five years with positive feedback from EVERY client I have written resumes for. I am highly qualified and confident in my work and skills. And my clients know this, which is why they refer others to me. AND I DON'T CREATE MY RESUMES FROM TEMPLATES. They are crafted individually and provided within two business days as compared with this company's seven-day turnaround time for a mid-manager-level resume.

I would, however, argue that [redacted] misrepresented his company. For example, for the IT-focused resume he sent me to complete, he sent incomplete information--information that even a novice resume writer would have requested the moment he/she saw that a client provided the information that was initially provided. I had to educate him that middle managers required data and results to be placed on resumes to show value and benefits to future employers. We discussed this telephonically, and he sounded confounded by what I was telling him.

He also didn't proactively seek clarification from his client about a significant gap in employment that writing a cover letter would require that I address. I had to proactively ask him to ask him client for clarification. To me, this was a clear indication that his understanding of what is important to go on vocational documents was either anemic or nonexistent. Novice writers don't even engage this way.

For anyone looking to subcontract with this company, I would not recommend working with it or the registered agent. The impression that I received was that it had no intention of paying for work provided and possibly was submitting the finished product as its own, collecting the funds itself.

From a customer standpoint, I would highly discourage you from seeking assistance from this company. You can review resumes that his company writes: [redacted]. You will note that the resumes share the same format, mostly the same verbiage--some of which has syntax and grammar concerns, and no quantitative data for managers who have worked with processes or dealt with business intelligence. These resumes strike me they were all created from the same template.

All discussions between this company and me have been thoroughly documented, including telephonic interactions, complete with time and date stamps. I am happy to provide these interactions to those interested in reviewing them for themselves to make their own determination.

If you're looking to have your resume optimized, professional, and stand out, this is a great solution. I went from almost no calls to 2 interviews a day. In the end, I had to choose which job I wanted!
