Customer service is very important to us and we aim to satisfy everyoneWe received this order minutes before the customer wanted it delivered, normally this is not affording us allot of time to purchase the items and drive time to deliver the order to our customersWe purchase everything
upfront, our customers do not pay until delivery. I personally excepted this order because I wanted to make sure I attempt to satisfy everyone within reasonI called and text the customer several times to confirm her order and to inform her she was not allowing us anytime to get her food to her on timeShe did not answerWe deliver food to this company daily and I understand the rules with their employees using their cell phones while at workKnowing this, I still personally went to get this order and attempt to deliver it at the time requestedI knew it was a possibility that the customer would not show up, but it was a lost I was willing to exceptI purchase the food and surprisingly was able to get to her destination minutes past the time requestedI called several times and even text, with no answer or replayI even walked into the building as far as I could go to deliver her food and even waited there for someone to show upEventually I text one last time explaining I would have to leave and then leftminutes after leaving the delivery address she called and asked if I could come back, which I didWhen I approached her with her food I was attempting to explain to her how our company works and how important it is to not force us to rush and how important it is for us to confirm her orderShe did say she didn't order two meals, and I explained to her how her message read, and to me it specified two meals, she said don't worry about it and that she would eat itShe then paid for the foodmin later she called talked to one of the receptionist complaining about her food being cold and that we got her order wrongI called her back, she was unaware I was the person whom just delivered her order and listen to her complaintI then confirmed that the only thing that was wrong with her order was she didn't order two meals, she just wanted the chicken not the entire second mealI explained to her how it read and said we did our best to get you your food on time giving the time you allotted us and we attempt to contact her to confirm her order to uncover those discrepancies, how ever its only a dollar difference to add the meal and I would giver her a free delivery next time she orderShe did not want that and demeaned a entire refundI explained to her I could not do that, and also explained if she didn't want the food she could have called us earlier and complainedShe hung up and said she will be getting her money back

I am rejecting this response because:There is absolutely no excuse as to why the food was cold therefore not edibleI wasted money on the food as well as the delivery charge itself for something I could not consumeIf the business wants to this that it was a great distance from my location, then they should be responsible for keeping it warm until thenThere are bags/warmers that are used by delivery companies for these exact act reasonsI just don't see how this situation is still justifiedI am the customer and at the end of the day, you are a businessI would expect you to do whatever necessary to make things right but I guess that isn't what you chooseThis pretty much shows me what your motives are
