SCAM = FRAUD = PRISON... Doan Solutions is a student loan forgiveness scamming company. If you have student loans through a federally backed loan provider, such as FedLoan, do not use Doan Solutions. They are preying on those buried in student debt by providing false information and guaranteeing debt relief that by law is impossible to achieve. They charge excessive fees up front and will require tens of thousands of dollars to be paid to them over the course of 20 years, or the federal loan forborence term, convincing the student debtor that they (Doan) is taking over the loan and greatly reducing the amount owed and giving the student debtor significantly lower monthly payments. This false information is negligence on their part, but most importantly, they are knowingly doing this, and their intentions are to deceive and profit off of desperate student debtors. Hence, they are scamming student debtors and committing fraud. If you are a victim of Doan Solutions actions, you can cancel your payments to them, contact your current loan provider, the RevDex.com, the Department of Education, a private attorney or try to obtain litigators assistance through the ALCU.

I signed up for the program months ago and I've never felt so great.
[redacted] had been hounding, hounding, hounding me for months about my student loans! They wanted six hundred dollars a MONTH!
I tried to call [redacted], but they dont offer any forgiveness programs and dont want to help with the paperwork. They were happy to throw me out and sell my money to collections.
I called Doan Solutions one time and they offered advice and a forgiveness program. My agent went over everything with me and broke it down so I could get it. Based on my situation, after a few months of paperwork Doan handled Im staring at $0.00 a month for my loans.
[redacted] tried to [redacted] me, now Im on a forgiveness program where I dont have to pay a cent til I get a better job(PERMANENT!) Doan solutions made this whole process easy, they even offered to break up the fee and started working that day to help me out. ","pos-1

I was making payments for a student loan forgiveness programThe total amount for the program was some where around $695. I started my payments around June 6, 2016. From there after, my payments were agreed to be $181. 67 on the first of July, August, and September. I told them not to take any money out of my account without me calling them to set up the payment. I ended up having a hardship around the time of July and I fell behind on my payments. I was then informed that my account would be put on hold and I would have my wages garnished if I didn't make my July payment August 1st, 2016. So I told them I would figure something out to make a payment on the 1st of August and another on the 12th. On August 1st, I had the money to pay them and I told them I was putting the money in my account. They then told me they would take the money out at 4pm. I then received a phone call that my card decline, and it declined because the amount of $181.67 had already been taken out. They said they didn't know where it came from. My agent [redacted] said he would call me back once they found out what went wrong. I never received a phone call then the next day I had an email stating that they would try to take the money out again and that if it didn't go through my account would be placed on hold and there goes the possibility of wage garnishes and $1500. How can they do this to me?, The money I needed to pay them was all that I had. I don't have any money in my account. I called my agent twice, and left a message. I feel like I am being scammed. I believe they took that money out my account because of the timing, and the fact that it was the exact amount and was taken out at the time I was expecting it to come out. This is not fair, and if I am being scammed I want to be saved the trouble and to not have to owe them anything and they can give me my money back. If not, I would like to continue forward.Desired SettlementI want then to keep my case open and let me continue making my payments if they are not scamming out of money. Business Response Hello,Doan Solutions is contacting the client to gather her information and assist her with her student loan consolidation process. We had previously hired Student Loan Help One as a processor company for the loan consolidation process. They have defaulted on many cases and we are no longer doing business with them. [redacted]'s case has been handed over to our new processing company and is treated with the highest priority. The notice that [redacted] received regarding her being garnished was not issued by Doan Solutions. We never send out garnishment letters. This is more than likely from her servicer. The merchant processing company that was used for the August payment of $181.67 had issues with drawing the funds from [redacted]'s bank account. The funds were being held, but then should have been released. Payment was never sent over to the merchant processor.Consumer Rebuttal:The company's response was not what I expected, and from here on out I am no longer continuing to conduct business with them. Thank you.

I found this website online and it seemed legitimate, however after reading about these third party groups, I realized these are all scams. I spoke with a Mark [redacted] who claims the business has been operating for over 13 years, that's not what the Revdex.com says. Also, he asked for my FSA ID which after reading, is something that should never be given out. He also asked for my social security number and drivers license number. I didn't give these out as this was starting to sound like identify theft or having my bank account drained. They also ask you to fill out a power of attorney contact which was another red flag stated on the Revdex.com website. These people just want the several hundred dollar up front few and then the consumer is out of luck. Just consolidate your own loans on the Dept of Ed website. What a scam!!","neg-1

At first, I was skeptical of this company because I had never heard of student loans being forgiven. But [redacted] was very infomative and I was able to verify everything he told me about on the studentaid.ed.gov website, so I signed up for their services on 12/16/15. I paid my first consolidated bill from Fed Loans servicer this month, and it was $35 as opposed to the $500 or something payment Sally Mae wanted before. Also since I work for the county, I will be forgiven in 10 years. Doan Solutions is a great businss, they did everything [redacted] promised and were always polite and professional the whole time. Yes, you do have to give your information and sign a power of attorney form like the other person said. However no money was ever taken without my permission and I have not seen anything suspect happen since I signed in December.
I am glad that I went with Doan Solutions. They are real professionals and really saved me, Sally Mae never even tried to help me with my loan payment at all.","pos-2
