Review: On Wednesday May 20TH 2015, I had AAA tow my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder up to Dob,s after calling them on Tuesday for appt.My vehicle stopped running on thurs,May 14TH when rtn from ventura.I had AAA come and jump it at the BOFA.at that time the service driver ran a diagnostic and printed out a paper informing me that the altenater was bad.He called AAA for a tow to my garage.My brother and I researched on our laptops the procedure 4 doing it ourselves.we also called a rebuit parts business at Commercial and Wooley it cost $100.00 they had one for me.Dobs Auto Repair put a remanufactuered altenater in my vehicle charging me $220.00 for same thing.I asked tow driver to go by the remanufacturing ,for me but he refused.THIS IS WHY I'M UPSET.They told me if they when I asked bout why? I was told Iwould've been OVERCHARGED for LABOR if they HADN"t.Im Very Sick and disabled.Desired Settlement: they ran a credit check for me to join their credit first program. I was accepted.Im EXPECTING $120.00 taken off my total of $350.00 because I had the $230.00 in cash. I FEEL RIPPED OFF. And even though I have up to $1000 in credit for future repairs I don't want to go back there to be RIPPED OFF AGAIN and its very possible I may need brake pads done sometime in near future. Even though I'm disabled and in an out of my wheel chairs,I had a remanufactured altenater right up the street.I would've

On 05/23/2015at 5:55 pm Mr B[redacted] spoke with Mr. Michael K[redacted] about the charges on services performed on #88052 dated 05/20/15. Mr B[redacted] and Mr. K[redacted] came to a compromise agreement and Dobs Brake and Auto will credit his credit card account xxxxxx4154 in the amount of $50.00. Proof of credit will be mailed to mr.
