I had Arapahoe Heating Services come to my house on occasions to fix my boiler of the times the year old boiler was not running He was able to get it up running times, but the last visit in April he could not I asked this company and another for quotes to install a new boiler Arapahoe Heating Services quote was $15,and the other providers was $8, My wife and I talked to Boyd about his quote to try to understand the large difference and it appears that his quote has 100% markup on materials He wanted to charge $6,for a boiler when you can find the exact one on the internet for $3, When we asked him if we could order the materials ourselves and have him install it, he said "it will ruin my margins" We informed his business of using the other supplier to put in the new boiler and his office staff asked us to bill us for the services delivered We received a bill for $which covered a trip charge at $95.00, hour of service at our house in April for $and 1/hours of labor for tracking down parts and providing us with a quote The company web site states that they provide free quotes I sent a letter to the business complaining of the bill on May 6th and enclosed a check for $ We called the business and text the owner to get a response on status of our letter in the middle of May and again in late JuneOn June 27th I received a certified letter requesting full payment We have paid the invoice, but we our not satisfied with the customer service provided by this vendor We have received phone quotes in years from the vendor None have been submitted to us in writing
