ID [redacted]Dear Revdex.com,In reference to Ms. [redacted]  complaint against our office regarding her daughter [redacted], this is an insurance issue and nothing more. [redacted] has been seen at our office a total of 3 times: 1/18/2015, 01/15/2016 and 02/07/2017 and at...

each visit presented an out of network insurance card, [redacted]. On each stated visit a comprehensive exam was given and a pair of eyeglasses were ordered. On the 2015 visit [redacted] did pay the exam fee and only $99 on the eyeglasses, leaving a balance of $90.00. Glasses were dispensed to the patient. Benefits were verified from [redacted] at [redacted].2016 visit same thing, exam and glasses were ordered and dispensed.  Benefits are again verbally verified by [redacted] with [redacted] at which this time she told us that plan would only cover conventional lenses and due to [redacted]'s Rx there would be a non covered high power fee of $35.00. Ms. [redacted] paid this amount and that left a balance of $328.00, which to date has not been paid.2017 visit- exam was performed and glasses were ordered but due to outstanding balances from the last two visits we were unable to let another pair of free glasses out the door. Benefits were again verified with [redacted] @ [redacted] and again approved an exam and eyeglasses.Our office team has diligently filed claim after claim, electronically filed, paper filed and mailed, and faxed a paper claim to [redacted] of Alabama, with no results. We have called and left countless messages with the rep that Ms. [redacted] has been speaking to and no calls have been returned. ([redacted] @ ext. [redacted]) With a balance currently at $781.00 we did inform Ms. [redacted] that we could not dispense the current glasses until the charges from 2017 were paid. Our office did give her the option of paying $224.00 for the eyeglasses from 2017, out of pocket so that [redacted] could receive her new eyewear, at which we would reimburse once we got the claim paid. That did not suit Ms. [redacted]. We have done everything in our power to work with her insurance company and are still continuing to do so. Ms. [redacted] has been difficult to communicate with, rude to out staff, hanging up on us, but yet we are doing everything we can to get [redacted] in her glasses.On every receipt given to Ms. [redacted] is our policy concerning insurance.
