I am unhappy with the services provided by this company - even though the quality of their painting was actually good! My complaint is that they'll promise anything and then ignore youFirst of all, when I finally got an appointment scheduled - they cancelled on me - twice Then after they finally made it out to me - after a month delay - they accidentally brought down my vertical blinds - which they did try to re-installUnfortunately they used masking tape and it only stayed up a few hours, so I notified themThey twice promised to come back to fix it - and never showedThen I told them I would file with the Revdex.com and they absolutely promised to come back - and again never showed - nor called - just ignored I gave up and decided that the best I can do is to warn others

I scheduled a painting job last month and they did not show upI attempted to reschedule twice and they were no-shows for bothI finally gave up and hired a different companySuch a huge amount of time wasted waiting at home for them with no communication!

I bought a voucher through *** and had to wait almost a full month before they could schedule me Then the day before the appointment I had not heard from them so I called to confirm they were coming and the girl who spoke very poor English said they had not finished a job they were currently working on and would have to rescheduleI rescheduled for the following week and then she called back the next day and said they would not be able to keep that dateSo I rescheduled again for another two weeks out and the same thing happenedI texted them to confirm they were coming and the girl texted back that they were still finishing another job & would have to reschedule againI called her immediately after the text popped up and she would not answer my callsI finally cancelled my *** and got a refundDO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!

This company no showed, did not call to inform me, or answer any of my attempts to reach themHours after their appointment, that had been confirmed multiple times, they informed me they could not make it or reschedule Do not waste your time or money because that's all it will be

I purchased interior painting services from *** on behalf of this companyAfter scheduling an appointment they never showed up or returned calls
I purchased ***s for interior painting from Doctor PaintingAfter getting in touch with someone I was told that I needed to correspond through textAfter texting over a course of several days I made an appointment to have rooms paintedI was to purchase the paint and move the furnitureI took off work in the day scheduled (November 16, 2017) and after the painters were minutes late I tried contacting the company without successI finally received a text telling me there was a scheduling mixup and was given another timeThe painters never showed up and all communication ended on their end

I purchased two *** to have two rooms painted in my houseIt took a few phone calls before I could get anyone to answerThe day before my appointment, I called to reschedule because I had been in bed with a
migraineIt must've taken 6-phone calls and texts to get a new dateI'm single & have health conditions including arthritis so I was exhausted from moving furniture so they could paint and then they didn't show upThey wouldn't respond to my calls or textsSo I had to find someone else and pay themThis was very stressful and unnecessaryI will never use them and will make sure nobody I know does either

My complaint is that they'll promise anything and then ignore you. First of all, when I finally got an appointment scheduled - they cancelled on me - twice.
Then after they finally made it out to me - after a 2 month delay - they accidentally brought down my vertical blinds - which they did try to re-install. Unfortunately they used masking tape and it only stayed up a few hours, so I notified them. They twice promised to come back to fix it - and never showed. Then I told them I would file with the Revdex.com and they absolutely promised to come back - and again never showed - nor called - just ignored.
I gave up and decided that the best I can do is to warn others.

Complaint[redacted], from Doctor Painting, missed an appointment on 12/12 at 9am. Then missed the same appointment the next dayI bought a [redacted] Deal from [redacted] Painting, however Doctor Painting was the company who was going to fulfill it. We scheduled an appt on 11/12 for 12/12. They missed the appointment on 12/12 and finally called me back at 5pm on 12/12. Then, they missed the appointment they scheduled for 12/13 as well. Desired SettlementI want them to actually complete the work I paid them for!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lack of professionalism. Services not performed. Unsettling anger w/ the contractor here to perform the work. I had to ask him to leave. (VA Office)NOTE: This is for the same company, but w/ their VA office ([redacted]). They operate as one.Painter was scheduled for 0930. Showed at 1030. Blamed traffic in the area. Some planning would have been a good idea were they professional.Showered up and did not want to use the coat of primer and then two coats of paint. As I was explaining the the mix was only 10% primer and 90% paint, if I knew that there would be such an objection, then I would have purchased the 50% primer/paint combo instead. But as advised by the manager who scheduled this over a month and a half ago, I purchased the primer separate since the walls are porous, and the paint is dark, so we will want to them properly primed.Painter was very unhappy w/ the plan and called the office to complain. He then proceeded to remind me that he's the expert and this is not what he was sent to do. I had to ask him to hold on while he calmed down a bit and I called the manager. The manager told me what he said and acknowledged that he was upset w/ the plan. That in mind, it is simply not a good idea to have anyone working in your home who is upset, has a bad attitude, or is unprofessional, so I asked him to leave at the manager's (from Dr. Painter) request. As we start to discuss rescheduling, all I am told is that they are busy and that nothing can be done to schedule at this time. She advised me that she would cell me back.1: A manager confirmed that while this is a slight deviation, this is far less than one room and by area, something that is a breeze. Unfortunately, in the month and change that passed by, no one prepared the note for the painter that this was the case, so after showing up late, they got off to a bad start and things quickly deteriorated.2: Our concierge came in to check on me bc he heard the painter's voice rising in frustration w/ me, as well as the discussion w/ the manager. That's a problem.3: He was shaking. He was mad at me. He was angry that the plan changed and that no one informed him, so he was not pleased w/ having to do the work, explaining that he would be here all day if we did the coats as I described. That's a problem.So... having already had a long discussion w/[redacted], who it seems is no longer w/ your company, who asked met o send photos of the space to be painted (a 13.5'X9' wall and a 38"X9' wall), approved this and noted that this would be conveyed to the painter seemed to break down. Today was an utter failure and we are left w/ a very sour taste in our mouth due to the lack of professionalism, contentious attitude, and quite frankly, anger that was so visible in your shaking painter this morning. So now we wait on [redacted] to schedule us since we have been advised that things are so busy that we may not get anyone out here for a while. Here's to another month and a half of waiting./////Desired SettlementIt's simple. Get another contractor out here. Hopefully one that can show some level of professionalism, be here at the prescribed time, perform the work as requested (and hopefully conveyed to him prior), and generally just be a contractor who is up to the task and not one who will make a homeowner uncomfortable in their home./////

No ShowMy neighbor and I purchased [redacted] for the service of this company. I scheduled my painting for this morning--six weeks in advance. I called them two days ago and left a reminder voicemail that included my phone number and address. I also sent them an email reminding them of the appointment. No response from either. My neighbor set up an appointment, and they didn't show. She set up a second appointment, and they didn't show again. For that reason, I am not surprised that they didn't show for me.I picked today for a special reason, and it is a heartbreak for me.Desired SettlementWithdraw their [redacted] special.Close their business--if that is what they call it.Business Response Hi,we are trying to resolve this problem with those customer,we are calling and try to make another appointment, but sometimes the customer can't not make another appointment or they don't understand our situation about why we was unavailable to go paint, the reason was that the van over heat and I don't have any way to send the painters to theirs house,we always call our customers and explain way is the reason and try to make a new appointment with them but sometimes they don't want to make another appointment, also if for some reason we can't go paint the that that we have an appointment, my office assistance call the customer and give them another appointment also we offer paint something free, thanks!Final Consumer Response Hello,Because my neighbor had a no show twice, I made an extra effort two days in advance to call and leave a voicemail and to email to remind them of their appointment. I left my phone number and my address for them. They didn't even have the courtesy to call or reply to my email.Their office assistant never called to schedule another appointment. I want to see the receipt for their van repair dated for November 22 because I don't believe their van overheated. They should at least have a receipt from a parts store.I am currently working with [redacted] to get my money back, and I want nothing to do with this business. They are unprofessional and unorganized.

I booked an appointment with Doctor Painting for Wednesday, December 18. I had a [redacted] for painting two rooms and was planning to redeem it with the company. On Tuesday, December 17 at about 10:00am, someone from Doctor Painting (I could not understand his name) called and ask me if I could reschedule my appointment due to "scheduling problems." I explained that I would be able to reschedule ONLY if the painters could come on Friday, December 20. The team member asked me about Saturday. I told him I could not be home that day. The team member said he "thought he could make Friday work" and promised to call me back to let me know. By 4:00pm on Tuesday, December 17, I had not heard back from Doctor Painting. I called the office and left a message, asking someone to call me immediately to let me know if the appointment was on for Wednesday or was rescheduled to Friday. At 8:00pm on Tuesday, December 17, I STILL had not heard back from anyone at Doctor Painting. I called again, got voice mail and asked someone to call me EARLY on Wednesday to let me know if the painters would or would not be coming to my house. I also emailed the Doctor Painting office, asking for someone to contact me ASAP. On Wednesday, December 18 at 8:00am, I called the Doctor Painting office and got no answer. I called again 3 times that morning and got voice mail each time. I got NO CONTACT from Doctor Painting at all and no one ever showed up at my house to perform the work.On Thursday, December 19 -- a full 24+ hours AFTER my original appointment, I got an email from [redacted] at Doctor Painting, asking if I could reschedule for Dec 26 or 27. I promptly emailed back and said neither of those days would work. I proposed that the work be done on Dec 23 as I was available that day. I never heard back from [redacted]. I am filing this complaint because I want others who may consider using this business to know about the poor service and lack of communication I encountered. Thinking of using Dr Painting? Think again!Product_Or_Service: Painting Two Rooms in my homeDesired SettlementI have contacted [redacted] to ask for a refund. My hope is that they grant my request so that I am not out any money for this whole problem. I will be using the Revdex.com website to find a reputable painting contractor to complete this work.

Tried to charge me more once they arrived after they had already given me an estimate 1 month prior. I called a month in advance- had them come to my house to give an estimate and wanted to be sure they would accept a [redacted] for the areas we wanted. They came to the house and said yes to everything. I waited a month for them to come- took off work and they showed up and WITHOUT a LADDER! Then said that that I could not use the [redacted]. I had them call the manager because they had already said we could use it. Long story short they said ok we could use the [redacted] but now we had to pay $200 cash (plus the 3 [redacted]s we bought) and they would only do 1/2 of what we had agreed upon. I don't really think they are a real painting company- what professional company would show up without a ladder?! (This is for the Northern VA location) Desired SettlementExplanation
