customer the fuse was blown during battery installation. He did not state that it was an improper installation. He and I both agreed that in our combined years of service neither of us have witnessed this type of fuse blowing during an installation. However, any time a battery is installed in a vehicle the renewed current can cause a fuse to blow. This does not mean there is wrongdoing on the part of the installer or any preventive measure that can be taken to prevent the issue. I do not feel that I am liable for this repair as it was not caused by an error on the part of my technician. The battery was not uninstalled and re-installed at the dealership. (I did verify this at the dealership) I will be glad to discuss this further with our customer and sent her an email stating this. I also asked that she forward a copy of her invoice in case there is something I have missed in my understanding of the situation. - [redacted] D [redacted], General Manager
