patient's last name is different from her mother's name, which caused a delay in finding and reviewing the record of the visitHerein follows the response of Doctor's Best Immediate Medical Care Inc(#***).*** ***'s (the complainant) basis for requesting a refund for our services is without meritWe provided appropriate care and charged our stated wacash fee of $129, and the cost of two labsWe stand behind our evidence-based treatment protocol and refute the complainant's basis for claiming a refund for our services.When *** *** brought her daughter (the patient) to our facility as a first-time patient, she indicated that she did not have insurance and did not want to spend a lot of money, because she believed that all her daughter needed was antibioticsWe informed her of our fee to be evaluated, and after performing the evaluation, we suggested that we perform two lab tests to rule out important causes of the patient's chief complaints of fever and abdominal painAt the time of her visit to our facility, the patient did not present symptoms consistent with sinus infection, so we did not evaluate her for sinus infectionBased upon the tests we conducted, we found no evidence of potential bacterial infection, and therefore did not prescribe antibioticsWhile a fever is likely to indicate infection, statistically most infections are viral rather than bacterial and therefore not responsive to antibioticsBy ruling out possible sources of bacterial infection, we concluded that the patient probably had a virus that would resolve over the course of timeWe provided discharge instructions on how to manage the symptoms and then performed our standard protocol to follthe next day to check on the patient to ask whether she had new, resolving or worsening symptomsWhen we learned on a follcall that the patient had developed a cough and nasal congestion, we requested that the patient return for further evaluation*** *** refused to return to our facility stating that "I am done with doctors"It was her choice to seek an alternative providerHad she come to our facility, she would have been charged the follvisit cost of $69.Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: the response I could see only mentioned an attachment I could not see and mentioned nothing about my complaint . Regardless bottom line they missed an infection after charging me $200 for care. When I called them days later telling them she still was running a fever they wouldn't give her an antibiotic without charging me even more money . It was a simple sinus infection and they couldn't figure that out? [redacted] did a great job and made her better . So since I had to go elsewhere to reasonably fix the issue I believe I am entitled to my money back regardless of the reasons the establishment may say I'm not. 
But as I cannot actually access the response from the business I do not know if they were offering a refund or not ? I cannot attend this matter correctly without further information . I do not reject a refund.
