We lived at Windsor Club for two yearsGenerally speaking the office staff was polite and generally got things done quickly My biggest complaint would be after we movedWe moved out a month before the lease ended I turned the air up to degrees so we would not have a high electric bill for the month nobody lived thereI came back into the unit before returning my key and found that the staff on property turned the air below after coming in to fix somethingOur bill was just as high as it had been when we were actually living in the unitThe complex refused to do anything about it, not even an apologyThen we get a letter in the mail advising that they were keeping $of our deposit for a painting feeObviously $is not a lot of money, but are you telling me they don't normally repaint the units after someone had lived there for two years? SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUND
I emailed the manager(Ashley) days after moving out and giving her my new address since I hadn't heard about my deposit refundThe manager replied that it takes up to days and it just so happened she was mailing me a letter yesterday after I contacted her on the 29th day(OK)! she INFORMED ME THEY WERE KEEPING $of my deposit because the vent BEHIND the dryer on the bottom NOT visible to me or anyone else had detached causing lint to pile BEHIND the dryer! According to her they had to clean it prior to painting and that was the $charge, she also said had I reported this to maintenance prior I wouldn't have been charged the fee! I am confused how would I know it was detached BEHIND the dryer if it was working properly, drying my clothes, NOT leaking NOT smoking no visible signs there was any problem???? Maybe had the vent been attached properly in the 1st place it wouldn't have detached since I NEVER moved it to cause it to detach!
